Sub: Notice Inviting Application for Enlistment of "Main Steel Producers"

No of Material Enlistment Group: 01-MEG-01

NTPC intends to enlist the "Main Steel Producers" for supply of Steel Plates and/ or Rolled Sections

and/ or Reinforcement Steel for a period of 03 Years. The interested vendors may download the

application form and document and submit application online within the stipulated date.

.0 Process of Enlistment:

Application form and Document can be viewed from www.ntpctender.com and the applications for

enlistment shall be submitted by vendors online at NTPC CPC portal

https://vendor.ntpc.co.in/enlistment .

For submitting applications online, the vendor has to create user id and password by logging on to

https://vendor.ntpc.co.in/enlistment and submitting documents like PAN etc.

The vendors can submit the applications on this portal by attaching documents at different predefined

fields of the application page of the portal as mentioned in “Supporting Document” mentioned in the

Notice Inviting Applications.

.0 Last date of submission of queries:

Interested steel manufacturers may submit their queries, if any, at the below mentioned addresses at

point no: 4.0 latest by 10.03.2020. Queries beyond 10.03.2020 shall not be entertained. Interested

parties should not wait till the last date for submission of queries/applications. They must clarify their

doubts, if any, on or before 10.03.2020 and submit applications in time.

.0 Last date of submission of online Application:

The 'Application for enlistment' can be submitted online from 15.02.2020 up to 14.03.2020. The

application window shall close at 24:00 Hrs on 14.03.2020.

Bidder should be a regular manufacturer of Steel Plates

and/ or Rolled Sections and/ or Reinforcement Steel for

the last two years as on date of submission of application

for enlistment. Bidder should also be a registered

licensee with Bureau of Indian Standards for BIS:

786/2062 at the time of submission of application for

enlistment.

The Bidder should be an integrated steel producer which

means that the Bidder should be a Primary Steel

Producer, having a minimum capacity of one million

tonnes per annum (MTPA) in terms of crude Steel.

NOTE: THE "Primary Steel Producer" shall mean Steel

Producer of any capacity, irrespective of process route,

starting their operations from iron making using iron ore,

virgin or processed, with necessary refining facilities and

rolling/processing facilities, at a single location or else in

multiple locations provided that the entire gamut of iron

&

steel production, from iron making to finished steel

production, is owned by the same company or its

subsidiary company(ies). Provided that the iron making

capacity the

steelmaking capacity of one million tonnes per annum

MTPA). Further, downstream units should use material

is

sufficiently

matching

(

from the upstream units of the same company or its

subsidiaries.

The average annual turnover of the bidder in the

preceeding three (3) financial years as on the date of

submission of application for enlistment shall not be

less than Rs. 1000.00 Crore [Rupees One Thousand

Crore].

. In cases where audited results for the last financial year

as on the date of submission of application for

enlistment are not available, the financial results

certified by a practicing Chartered Accountant shall be

considered acceptable. In case, Bidder is not able to

submit the Certificate from a practicing Chartered

Accountant certifying its financial parameters, the

audited results of three consecutive financial years

preceding the last financial year shall be considered for

evaluating the financial parameters. Further,

a

certificate would be required from the CEO/CFO as per

the format enclosed in the bidding documents stating

that the Financial results of the Company are under audit

as on the date of submission of application for

enlistment and the Certificate from the practicing

Chartered Accountant certifying the financial

parameters is not available.
