1.0 NTPC Ltd. invites online bids from eligible bidders on Single Stage Two Envelope (i.e.
Envelope-I: Technical Bid and Envelope-II: Financial Bid) with Reverse Auction for
Purchase of Power from Distribution Licensee or Power Trader or Power Generator
from existing Solar Power Plants of Cumulative Capacity upto 100 MW for a period
of Two months.
2.0 Detailed Terms & Conditions are given in the Request for Selection (RfS) documents No. RE-
CS-0000-POP-3, which are available for examination and Downloading at e-Tender Portal (as
specified in this IFB) as per the following schedule:

3.0 Qualifying Requirements for Bidders:
The bidder should be a Company or Consortium of Companies. The Solar Power Plant
from which the Solar Power is offered by Power Generator should be commissioned
as on last date of bid submission. Distribution Licensee or Power Traders as per
Definition given in this RfS document are also allowed to participate in this tender.
4.0 NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel/withdraw the Invitation for Bids
without assigning any reason whatsoever and in such case no bidder / intending bidder shall
have any claim arising out of such action.
5.0 Interested parties are required to get registered with ETS website https://www.bharat-
electronictender.com (if not registered already). RfS document is available for download,
free of cost from the website of ETS at https://www.bharat-electronictender.com with
Tender Search Code- NTPC-2019-TN000017. Interested parties are required to ensure that
they have downloaded the official copy of RfS Documents against Tender Search Code- NTPC-
2019-TN000017 from abovementioned ETS website after getting registered with ETS without
which they will not be able to submit their bids. For technical assistance call ETS Helpdesk at
+91-124-4229071, 4229072.
Note: No hard copy of RfS Documents shall be issued.
6.0 Issuance of RfS Documents to any Bidder shall not construe that such Bidder is considered to
be qualified. Bids shall be submitted online on ETS portal. Bidder shall furnish Pass Phrase,
Copy of Board Resolution and other required documents separately offline as detailed in RfS
Documents before the stipulated bid submission closing date and time at the address given
below.
7.0 Transfer of RfS Documents purchased by one intending Bidder to another is not permissible.
