Earnest Money Deposit (EMD): Rs. 20,000/-  
The EMD shall be made payable without any condition to the  
owner, if EMD submitted is in the form of BG, BG shall be  
valid for the period of six (06) calendar months from the  
date set for the opening of the technical bids. EMD of the  
Bidder shall stand forfeited if he revokes or cancels his tender  
after submission or vary any terms thereof without the consent of  
the owner within validity period of tender (6 months).  
EMD should be submitted in separate sealed envelope,  
super scribed with tender reference, type of EMD & EMD  
details.  
Earnest Money Deposit  
(EMD)  
The EMD of the Un successful Bidders shall be returned after  
award of PO & The EMD of the successful Bidder to whom a  
contract is awarded will be returned after completion of contract  
of one year.

Any bid not accompanied by the EMD shall be  
disqualified.”  
No interest will be payable by the owner on the EMD and CPBG as  
may be applicable.
