Qualifying Requirement

Subject : Qualifying Requirements for Procurement of CW treatment Chemicals at Kahalgaon.

In addition to the requirements stipulated in Section ITB (Instructions to Bidders), the Bidder shall also meet the Qualifying Requirements stipulated

hereunder.

QUALIFYING REQUIREMENTS PROPOSED BY STANDING COMMITTEE

.1 The vendor should be either a manufacturer of PBTC/ Poly acryl amide dispersant/ Sodium Chlorite/Bio dispersant solution/Zinc Sulphate/BTA

An authorized dealer/distributor/channel partner/subsidiary of the manufacturer.

.2 The bidder should have successfully executed purchase orders for supply of any of above chemicals with either the following criteria during last

seven years as on the date of the bid opening.

Three executed orders each costing not less than INR 142.3 Lacs

Two executed orders each costing not less than INR 177.9 Lacs

One executed order costing not less than INR 284.6 Lacs

.0 A Average annual financial turnover of the Bidder during the preceding three (03) financial years prior to techno-commercial bid opening shall

not be less INR 355.8 Lakh.

.0 B In cases where audited results for the last financial year as on the date of the Techno-Commercial Bid opening are not available, the financials

results certified by a practicing Chartered Accountant shall be considered acceptable.

In case Bidder is not able to submit the certificate from practicing Chartered Accountant certifying its financial parameters, the audited results of

three consecutive financial years preceding the last financial year shall be considered for evaluating the financial parameters. Further, a Certificate

would be required from the CEO/CFO as per the format enclosed in the bidding documents stating that the financial results of the Company are under

audit as on the date of Techno-Commercial bid opening and the Certificate from the practicing Chartered Accountant certifying that financial

parameters is not available

Note:

In clause 1.2 above, the word “executed” means the bidder should have achieved the criteria specified in the qualifying requirements, within the

preceding seven (7) years period, even if the contract has been started earlier and /or is not completed / closed.

Remarks: (i) Bidder must submit requisite credentials in support of having met the qualifying requirement. A summary sheet of all documents need to

be submitted along with the technical offer. Summary Sheet should clearly describe the eligibility credentials. Credentials may include:

. Purchase order/ work order copies.

. Work Completion Certificate against purchase order/ Work Order Copies

(ii) In case of composite work/BOQ, the bidder shall have to furnish Certificate from owner certifying the value of specific nature of work, as

mentioned in clause 1.2

Inspection remarks

1. Receipt Inspection at NTPC store as per PO terms.

. Vendor has to submit expiry date/self life of the material shall be reasonably sufficient(six months) before

dispatch by the supplier

. In case the vendor is not having their own testing facilities then the testing will be done at NTPC/ Govt

approved laboratory and testing charges to be borne by the vendor.
