QUALIFYING REQUIREMENTS FOR HIRING OF COMMERCIAL REGISTERED BLS (BASIC LIFE SUPPORT)
A/C AMBULANCE FOR 24 HRS. CONTINUOUS DUTY AT NTPC FARIDABAD FOR A PERIOD OF 02 YEARS
Following qualifying requirements are proposed to be incorporated in the NIT for the subject
package.
1.0 The Bidder should be the sole owner of the commercial registered BLS (Basic Life Support) A/C
Ambulance, 2019 or Later Model.
OR
Bidder should submit an undertaking to own and deploy the commercial registered ambulance with Basic
Life Support facility, 2019 or Later Model within Forty Five days of the Award of the Contract.
To ensure compliance to this, the bidder shall submit an additional security of INR 50,000.00/- in the form
of FDR / National Savings Certificate pledged to NTPC, Limited or Demand Draft/ Bank Guarantee in
favour of NTPC. This additional security will not be accepted in any other form. In the event of the bidder
not owning and deploying the Ambulance within Forty Five days of award of contract, this additional
security of INR 50,000.00/- will be forfeited.
2.0 The bidder should have successfully executed the work of managing & providing emergency
ambulance services during the last 7 years and meeting any one of the following criteria as reckoned from
the date of opening of the techno-commercial proposal.
• Single Order of INR 19.96 Lakhs
• Two Orders of INR 12.47 Lakhs each
• Three Orders of INR 9.98 Lakhs each
3.0 The average annual turnover of the Bidder in the preceding three financial years shall not be less than
INR 24.95 Lakhs.
4.0 The tenders shall be called on two part single stage bidding basis. Envelope one containing EMD, QR
Documents, technical bid and commercial terms & conditions excluding price bid, shall be opened on due
date of opening. Envelope two containing only price bid shall be opened at a later date which will be
informed to such vendors who meet QR and technical specifications.
NOTE:-
a. The word ‘executed’ means that the bidder should have achieved the progress specified in the QR even
if the total contract is not completed/ closed.
b. Other income shall not be considered for arriving of annual turnover.
c. In cases where audited results for the last preceding financial year are not available, certification of
financial statements from a practicing chartered accountant shall also be considered acceptable. In case,
Bidder is not able to submit the certificate from practicing chartered accountant certifying its financial
parameters, the audited results of three consecutive financial years preceding the last financial year shall
be considered for evaluating the financial parameters.
d. Bidder has to submit all documentary evidence in support of the above requirements.
