1.0 NTPC Ltd. invites online bids from eligible bidders on Single Stage Two Envelope (i.e.
Envelope-I: Technical Bid and Envelope-II: Financial Bid) followed by Forward Auction for
Selection of End Users (Government Entities / CPSUs / State PSUs) for Supply of Power from
1000 MW Grid Connected Solar PV Power Projects under DCR Category as per CPSU
Scheme Phase II.
2.0 Detailed Terms & Conditions are given in the Request for Selection (RfS) documents No. RE-
CS-0000-CPSU-1, which are available for examination and Downloading at e-Tendering ETS
Portal (as specified in para 5.0 below) as per the following schedule:

3.0 Qualifying Requirements for Bidders:
Bidders should be a CPSUs/ State PSUs/ Government Entity which is either directly controlled
by the Central or State Government or is under the administrative control of Central or State
government or a Company in which Government is having more than 50 % shareholding as
per requirement of CPSU scheme.
4.0 NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel/withdraw the Invitation for Bids
without assigning any reason whatsoever and in such case no bidder / intending bidder shall
have any claim arising out of such action.
5.0 Interested parties are required to get registered with e-tendering ETS portal
https://www.bharat-electronictender.com (if not registered already). RfS document is available
for download, free of cost from e-tendering ETS portal at https://www.bharat-
electronictender.com with Tender Search Code NTPC-2019-TN000001. Interested parties are
required to ensure that they have downloaded the official copy of RfS Documents against
Tender Search code- NTPC-2019-TN000001 from abovementioned e-tendering ETS portal
after getting registered with https://www.bharat-electronictender.com, without which they will
not be able to submit their bids. For technical assistance call e-tendering ETS portal Helpdesk
at +91-124-4229071, 4229072.
Note: No hard copy of RfS Documents shall be issued.
6.1 Issuance of RfS Documents to any Bidder shall not construe that such Bidder is considered to
be qualified. Bids shall be submitted online on e-tendering ETS portal. Bidder shall furnish
Ernest Money Deposit (EMD), Integrity Pact, Pass Phrase and Board Resolution separately
offline as detailed in RfS Documents before the stipulated bid submission closing date and
time at the address given below.
7.0 Transfer of RfS Documents downloaded by one intending Bidder to another is not permissible.
