Part (A) QUALIFYING REQUIREMENT:

1. The bidder should be a manufacturer of 500NB ERW/SAW MS Pipe conforming to IS:3589 with latest revision

and having valid BIS license.

2. The Bidder should have successfully manufactured & supplied purchase order(s) (P.O.) to meet either of the following

criteria within the preceding seven (07) years ending last day of the month previous to the date of NIT.

I. One similar order of valuing not less than Rs. 130 lakhs.

II. Two similar orders of valuing not less than Rs. 81 lakhs each.

III. Three similar orders of valuing not less than Rs 65 lakh each.

3. The Average annual financial turnover of the bidder in the preceding three (03) financial years ending with

financial year 2017-18 shall not be less than Rs. 162 lakhs.

PART (B) GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:

 Eligible bidders may submit their bid as per following procedure:

 Tender fee & EMD, if applicable to be submitted by the bidder separately.

 The Demand Draft should be drawn in favour of Kanti Bijlee Utpadan Nigam Ltd. payable at SBI, TPS,

Kanti Thermal, Muzaffarpur Bihar (code 7033).

 Complete bid to be submitted within prescribed time as indicated in bid document.

 The General Purchase Condition of KBUNLwill be the integral part of the tender document.

 The documents are required to be submitted in support of meeting the Qualifying Requirements, as

mentioned above apart from those Specified in Bid documents:

 Documentary evidence in support of meeting the qualifying requirements stipulated above which inter alia

should include experience of execution of works as specified in QR with self-certified and stamped copies of

Work Orders/ Award Letters, certificate stating that the work order given in support of qualifying

requirements has been completed or completion certificate or proof of execution of awarded work.

 Latest audited annual report, Proof of Turnover/Balance Sheet duly certified by practicing Chartered

Accountant.

 Copy of valid PAN &GSTIN registration certificate.

 Notwithstanding anything stated above, KBUNL reserves the right to assess the bidder’s capability and

capacity to perform the contract/order, should the circumstances warrant such an assessment in the

overall interest of KBUNL and the decision of KBUNL in this regard shall be final and binding.
