QUALIFYING REQUIREMENT

Name of Work: Supply & Retrofitting of Numerical Relays for NSPCL BHILAI PP2 &

PP3

1. The bidder should have successfully Manufactured, Supplied and Commissioned Numerical Relays

for application in Transformer/ Motor / Feeder protections during last seven years as on the bid

opening date.

2. The average annual turnover of the Bidder in the preceding three financial years as on the date of

Techno-commercial bid opening shall not be less than Rs. 80.74 lakhs.

3. The bidder should have experience of manufacturing, supplying and commissioning OR

manufacturing, supplying and supervised commissioning of Numeric Relays during last

07(seven) years ending last day of previous month to the one in which applications are invited

should be one of the following:-

a) Single order having a value not less than Rs. 96.89 Lakhs(inclusive of taxes).

b) Two orders having a value not less than Rs. 60.56 Lakhs each (inclusive of taxes).

c) Three orders having a value not less than Rs. 48.45 lakhs each (inclusive of taxes).

Note:

 Experience means:- The executed/ completed portion of BOQ, even if the work has not been

completed in totality (subject to furnishing of documentary proof of executed value of the work).

 While computing the annual turnover other income shall not be considered.

 In case where audited results for the last preceding financial year as on the date of Techno-

Commercial bid opening are not available, the financial results certified by a practicing Chartered

Accountant shall be considered acceptable. In case, Bidder is not able to submit the Certificate from

practicing Chartered Accountant certifying its financial parameters, the audited results of three

consecutive financial years preceding the last financial year shall be considered for evaluating the

financial parameters. Further, a Certificate would be required from the

CEO/CFO/Proprietor/Partners as per the format enclosed in the bidding documents stating that

the financial results of the Company are under audit as on the date of Techno-Commercial bid

opening and the Certificate from the practicing Chartered Accountant certifying the financial

parameters is not available.

NIT Conditions

1. Bid documents will be issued to all the parties on their request (cost of tender document to

be made by a crossed demand draft / pay order / banker's cheque in favour of NTPC

SAIL POWER COMPANY LIMITED payable at Bhilai) for issue of bid documents without

prima-facie examination of their qualification status. However, issue of bid documents shall

not mean that bidders are considered qualified. Tender document fee will not be refunded.

Request for tender documents received after the last date as mentioned above due to delays

postal/courier services shall not be entertained.

2. Complete set of bidding documents are also available on NTPC website

www.ntpctender.com prospective bidders can down load the same for submission of bids

after tendering the cost of bidding documents directly on the website.

3. NSPCL reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel / withdraw the Invitation for bids

without assigning any reason whatsoever and in such case no bidder / intending bidder

shall have any claim arising out of such action.

4. Agencies are advised to visit the site to familiarize themselves with the nature of work and

the site conditions.

5. Small-scale industries registered with NSIC/MSEs shall be exempted for payment of EMD &

Tender Fee.

(Subject to submission of copy of registration giving details, such as validity, monetary limit,

etc.)

6. If the last date of receiving application and date of bid opening coincide with a holiday, the

date will be shifted to the next working day.

Other terms and conditions will be intimated in tender documents.
