QUALIFYING REQUIREMENTS FOR SUPPLY AND FABRICATION OF FIRE WATER TENDER TYPE-B FOR
NTPC FARIDABAD
Following qualifying requirements are proposed to be incorporated in the NIT for the subject
package.
1. Bidder must be a manufacturer/ fabricator of Any Type of Fire Tender for Fire Fighting
System and should have executed the supply of the same to any NTPC stations/ SEBs/ Govt./
Semi Govt./ PSU/ any Pvt. Limited Company.
2. The bidder should have successfully executed supply of ‘Similar Items’ during last 7
years meeting any one of the following criteria as on the bid opening date :
a. Single Order of Rs 36 Lakh.
b. Two Orders of Rs. 22.50 Lakh each.
c. Three Orders of Rs. 18 Lakh each.
3. The average annual turn over of the Bidder in the preceding three financial years shall
not be less than Rs. 45 lakhs.
The bidder has to submit all the documentary support for above requirement.
However the following conditions shall also be considered as a part of QR :
The word ‘executed’ means that the bidder should have achieved the progress specified in
the QR even in the QR even if the total contract is not completed/ closed
Other income shall not be considered for arriving annual turn over
In cases where audited results for the last preceding financial year are not available,
certification of financial statements from a practicing chartered accountant shall also be
considered acceptable. In case, Bidder is not able to submit the certificate from practicing
chartered accountant certifying its financial parameters, the audited results of three
consecutive financial years preceding the last financial year shall be considered for
evaluating the financial parameters.
NTPC has right to access the capability & capacity of the bidder for manufacturing/ supply of
FIRE WATER TENDER TYPE-B.
Bidder has to submit all documentary evidence in support of the above requirements
The tenders shall be called on two part single stage bidding basis. Envelope one containing
EMD, QR documents, technical bid and commercial terms & conditions excluding price bid,
shall be opened on due date of opening. Envelope two containing only price bid shall be
opened at a later date which will be informed to such vendors who meet QR and technical
specifications.
