QUALIFYING REQUIREMENTS FOR REFURBISHMENT OF INNER CASING OF SIEMNS V 94.2 GAS TURBINE

AT NTPC FARIDABAD

Following qualifying requirements are proposed to be incorporated in the NIT for the subject

package.

1.01 Proven Experience

The Bidder should be a Gas Turbine Manufacturer / Manufacturer of Gas Turbine sheet metal

hot path components / Refurbishment agency of Gas Turbine sheet metal hot path components

and should have carried out / got carried out refurbishment / manufacture of at least Two (02)

refurbishment of sheet metal hot path components of Siemens make Gas Turbine model no V

94.2 having ISO rating of 159 MW at TIT of 1060 Deg. C. The Bidder at his option can also

outsource any of the activities required for refurbishment of sheet metal hot path components

subject to the condition that the chosen outsourcing agency by the bidder also has the

necessary technology for refurbishment of sheet metal hot path components of Siemens make

Gas Turbine model no V 94.2 having ISO rating of 159 MW at TIT of 1060 Deg. C

1.03 The Bidder can be a licensee or Authorized Agent of Gas turbine Original Equipment

Manufacturer (OEM). In such case, the bidder can be considered qualified based on the

experience of the Principal who meets the requirements mentioned at para 1.01 & 1.02 above.

2.0 The bidder should have executed the supply/ refurbishment of Gas Turbine Components

OR

 Three (3) orders, each of contract value not less than Rs. 50.03 Lakh in Indian Rupees or

equivalent in foreign currency.

3.0 The average Annual turnover of the bidder for the preceding three (3) completed financial

years as on date of bid opening shall not be less than Rs. 125 Lakh in Indian Rupees or

equivalent in foreign currency

4.0 NTPC has the right to assess the capability and capacity of the bidder for carrying out the

refurbishment of the identified machines of its plant.

5.0 The tenders shall be called on two part single stage bidding basis. Envelope one containing

EMD, QR documents, technical bid and commercial terms & conditions excluding price bid,

QR even if the total contract is not completed/ closed.

• Other income shall not be considered for arriving annual turnover. In cases where audited

results for the last preceding financial year are not available, certification of financial statements

from a practicing chartered accountant shall also be considered acceptable. In case, Bidder is

not able to submit the certificate from practicing chartered accountant certifying its financial

parameters, the audited results of three consecutive financial years preceding the last financial

year shall be considered for evaluating the financial parameters.
