SALIENT TECHNICAL FEATURES:

Talcher Super Thermal Power Station is a Unit of NTPC, in Kaniha block under Talcher sub- division of

Angul district of ODISHA.

Nearest Town : Talcher 26 KMs

Nearest Railway Station : Talcher 29 KMs

Nearest Airport : Bhubaneswar 180 KMs

INSTALLED CAPACITY

STAGE-I : 2 Units each 500 MW = Total 1000 MW STAGE-II : 4 Units each 500 MW =

Total 2000 MW Solar-10MW

Brief scope of work

NTPC-TSTPS, KANIHA with an installed capacity of 3010 MW is one of the Premier Power

Stations and flagship power Major of NTPC Limited in India. It is located 26 Km from Talcher of

Angul District in Odisha.

Material Handling Contract plays a vital role for smooth running of the POWER PLANT. The

contract involves loading/unloading of general cargo, Steel & Cement and stacking of the same by

crane/manual with deployment of different category of man power/ Truck/ Tractor/ Trailer/ Hydra/

Crane. It also involves collection of materials from different local transporters Godowns as per

requirements.

Qualifying Requirements for

Bidders:

In addition to satisfactory fulfilment of the Qualifying requirements stipulated in section ITB (instruction to

bidders) of bid documents, the bidder should also meet the qualifying requirements stipulated hereunder:

TECHNICAL QR

The bidder should have executed/completed similar works during the last 07(seven) years prior to the

date of techno-commercial bid opening:

a. At least one order of value not less than Rs.121.55 Lakhs.

b. Two orders, each of value not less than Rs. 75.97 Lakhs.

c. Three orders, each of value not less than Rs. 60.77 Lakhs.

Similar work means: Material handling work involving loading/unloading/stacking of materials or

mechanical maintenance works or civil works.

The bidder should possess mobile crane of capacity 8 MT or above as on date of techno commercial

bid opening. The crane should be registered in the name of the bidder or in the name of sole proprietor

in case of proprietorship firm.

Note: The work/ order executed means the bidder should have achieved the criteria specified in the QR,

even if the total contract/ order is not completed / closed. In case of contract/ order under execution as

on last date of techno commercial bid opening, the value of work/ order executed till such date will be

considered.

FINANCIAL CRITERIA

2.1

The average annual turnover of the bidder, in the preceding three (3) financial years as on the date of

techno commercial bid opening, shall not be less than Rs. 152 Lakhs ( Rupees one hundred fifty two

lacs only).

NOTES :

1. Other income shall not be considered for arriving at annual turnover.

2. In cases where audited results of the last financial year as on the date of techno commercial bid

opening are not available, the financial results certified by a practicing chartered accountant shall be

considered acceptable. In case, Bidder is not able to submit the certificate from practicing charted

accountant certifying its financial parameters, the audited results of three consecutive financial years

preceding the last financial year shall be considered for evaluating the financial parameters. Further,

a Certificate would be required from the CEO/ CFO as per the format enclosed in the bidding

documents stating that the financial results of the Company are under audit as on the date of

Techno- commercial bid opening and the Certificate from the practicing Charted Accountant

certifying the financial parameters is not available.

through NTPC eProcurement Portal, https://eprocurentpc.nic.in.

Tender documents are non-transferable. No bidder other than the original bidder in whose name the

tender documents are sold / downloaded can submit the offer.

Issuance of Bidding Documents to any bidder shall not construe that bidder is considered qualified.

NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel / withdraw the NIT without assigning any reason

whatsoever and in such case no bidder / intending bidder shall have any claim arising out of such action.
