QUALIFYING REQUIREMENTS FOR DESIGN, ENGINEERING, SUPPLY, INSTALLATION AND

COMMISSIONING OF TOWNSHIP SMART ENERGY METERING SYSTEM AT NTPC, FARIDABAD

Bidder should meet the QR stipulated here under:

a) The Bidder should have supplied and commissioned Smart Energy Metering System having automatic

and remote communication feature for a network size of at least One Hundred and Fifty (150) communicating

Energy Meters. The System supplied & commissioned should be in successful operation for a minimum

period of one year after commissioning date prior to the date of techno commercial bid opening.

b) The bidder should have supplied and successfully commissioned at least one complete system of

such equipments as specified at Sl.No. ‘a’ above, during last 7 years meeting any one of the following

criteria as on the bid opening date :

Single Order of Rs 35.92 Lakhs

Two Orders of Rs. 22.45 Lakhs each

Three Orders of Rs. 17.96 Lakhs each

c) The average annual turnover of the Bidder in the preceding three financial years shall not be less

than Rs. 44.89 Lakhs.

4.0 The tenders shall be called on two part single stage bidding basis. Envelope one containing EMD,

QR documents, technical bid and commercial terms & conditions excluding price bid, shall be opened

on due date of opening. Envelope two containing only price bid shall be opened at a later date which

will be informed to such vendors who meet QR and technical specifications.

NOTE:-

a. The word ‘executed’ means that the bidder should have achieved the progress specified in

the QR even if the total contract is not completed/ closed.

b. Other income shall not be considered for arriving of annual turn over.

c. In cases where audited results for the last preceding financial year are not available,

certification of financial statements from a practicing chartered accountant shall also be

considered acceptable. In case, Bidder is not able to submit the certificate from practicing

chartered accountant certifying its financial parameters, the audited results of three

consecutive financial years preceeding the last financial year shall be considered for

evaluating the financial parameters.

d. Bidder has to submit all documentary evidence in support of the above requirements

NTPC has the right to assess capability & capacity of the bidder.
