Bidding Documents for the subject package consisting of the following sections are

available under the IFB No. 9900170610 on NTPC E-Tender Website

https://eprocurentpc.nic.in/ , and can be downloaded by logging onto the Website:

downloading the documents, you are requested to go through the bidder’s manual

available on NTPC e-tender website (https://eprocurentpc.nic.in/) or may contact the

undersigned through email or on phone.

Bids are to be submitted online. Bid Security, Deed of Joint Undertaking and Power of

Attorney are to be submitted in original before the deadline for online submission of

Techno-Commercial and Price bids, at the address for communication mentioned herein

below.

Further, in this regard please note the following:

You may please note that queries/clarifications, if any, to the provisions of Bidding

Documents should reach us not later than the date mentioned above, and any

query/clarification received thereafter shall not be entertained by NTPC.

As per provisions of Bidding Documents, the Bidders/Consultants shall submit its bid

online through e-tender website (https://eprocurentpc.nic.in/) of NTPC, within the Bid

submission date and time as mentioned above. Only Techno-Commercial bids will be

opened on the date and time mentioned above. The date of opening of Price Bids

shall be intimated separately by NTPC after completion of evaluation of Techno-

Commercial Bids including Bidder’s Qualification and Bidder’s Technical

Qualification.

All bids must be accompanied by Bid Security for an amount of INR 2,00,000/- or

US$ 2,900 (US Dollars Two Thousand Nine Hundred only) in the form as stipulated in

the bidding Documents.

ANY BID NOT ACCOMPANIED BY AN ACCEPTABLE BID SECURITY IN A

SEPARATE SEALED ENVELOPE SHALL BE REJECTED BY NTPC AS BEING NON-

RESPONSIVE AND RETURNED TO THE BIDDERS/CONSULTANTS WITHOUT

BEING OPENED.

4.2

Power of Attorney, duly notarized by a Notary Public, indicating that the person signing

the bid has the authority to sign the bid and that the bid is binding upon the

i. Atleast two (2) consultancy assignments for opencast mine(s) of coal or other Major

ii. The scope of the assignment(s) mentioned at (i) above should have together covered

bucket capacity and Dumper/Dump Truck(s) not less

collaborate /associate with a firm/individual who fully meets the requirements specified at

clause 5.1 (ii) above.

In such case, the Bidder shall furnish a Deed of Joint Undertaking along with Techno-

Commercial bids jointly executed by it and its collaborate/associate in which the

executants of Deed of Joint Undertaking shall be jointly and severally liable to the

Employer for successful performance of the Contract, as per format enclosed in bidding

documents.

c) Necessary documentary evidence in support of meeting the qualifying criteria is to be

submitted along with Techno-Commercial bids.

d) Client certificate shall be submitted along with Techno-Commercial bid as documentary
