1.0 NTPC Ltd. invites online bids from eligible bidders on Single Stage Two Envelope (i.e.
Envelope-I: Technical Bid and Envelope-II: Financial Bid) with Reverse Auction for
Purchase of Power from existing Solar PV Power Plants and Wind Power Plants upto
Cumulative Capacity of 1000 MW.
2.0 Detailed Terms & Conditions are given in the Request for Selection (RfS) documents No.
RE-CS-0000-POP-1, which are available for examination and Downloading at e-Tender
Portal (as specified in this IFB) as per the following schedule:

3.0 Qualifying Requirements for Bidders:
The bidder should be a company or consortium of companies. The Solar Power Plant
and/or Wind Power Plant should be commissioned as on last date of bid submission. The
bidder shall submit commissioning certificate in support of the above. The Solar and/or
Wind Power Plant should be owned by the bidder.
4.0 NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel/withdraw the Invitation for Bids
without assigning any reason whatsoever and in such case no bidder / intending bidder
shall have any claim arising out of such action.
5.0 Interested parties are required to get registered with M/s Telecommunication Consultant
India Ltd. (TCIL) website https://www.tcil-india-electronictender.com (if not registered
already). RfS document is available for download, free of cost from the web-site of
TCIL at https://www.tcil-india-electronictender.com.with Tender Search Code NTPC-
2018-TN000015. Interested parties are required to ensure that they have downloaded the
official copy of RfS Documents against Tender Search code- NTPC-2018-TN000015 from
abovementioned website of TCIL after getting registered with TCIL without which they will
not be able to submit their bids. For technical assistance call TCIL Helpdesk at 011-
26241790.
Note: No hard copy of RfS Documents shall be issued.
6.1 Issuance of RfS Documents to any Bidder shall not construe that such Bidder is considered
to be qualified. Bids shall be submitted online on TCIL portal. Bidder shall furnish Ernest
Money Deposit (EMD), Integrity Pact, Pass Phrase and Board Resolution separately offline
as detailed in RfS Documents before the stipulated bid submission closing date and time at
the address given below.
7.0 Transfer of RfS Documents purchased by one intending Bidder to another is not permissible.
