1 NTPC invites on-line bids on Single stage Two envelope basis from eligible

bidders for above said package as per the Scope of Work briefly mentioned

hereinafter.

BRIEF SCOPE OF WORK:

2 NTPC Intends to finance the subject work through own resource.

3 Detailed specification, scope of work and terms & conditions are given in the bidding

documents, which are available for examination and sale at the address given below

Bidder shall submit the Demand Draft towards the cost of Bid Document / Tender Fee alongwith

the envelope containing the Bid Security. However, Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs)

registered with District Industries Centres or Khadi and Village Industries Commission or Khadi

and Village Industries Board or Coir Board or National Small Industries Corporation or

Directorate of Handicrafts and Handloom or any other body specified by Ministry of Micro, Small

and Medium Enterprises as per MSMED Act 2006,for goods produced and services rendered,

shall be issued the bid documents free of cost and shall be exempted from paying Earnest

Money Deposit//Bid Security.

Note:

2. Demand Draft can be prepared in favour of NTPC Ltd., Payable at Shaktinagar and

shall be submitted alongwith the documents being submitted to NTPC in Hard copies

as mentioned in ITB/BDS, else Bid shall not be opened by NTPC.

Bid Security and Tender fee shall be submitted in a sealed envelope separately

responsive by the employer and shall not be opened.

5 QUALIFYING REQUIREMENT FOR BIDDERS

5.1 The Bidder should have manufactured / got manufactured / supplied, erected and

commissioned online steam & water analysis system (SWAS) which should have

been in successful operation in at least one power station having unit rating of

200MW or above, for a period of at least one year prior to the date of Techno

Commercial bid opening .

5.2 The bidder should have supplied steam & water analysis system / spares of SWAS,

during last seven(7) years, as per 1 above, as on date of bid opening, for either of the

following values:-

a) Three executed/completed contracts ,as above, of value not less than Rs.

109.71 Lakh each

b) Two executed/completed contracts ,as above, of value not less than Rs.

137.13 Lakh each

c) One executed/completed contracts ,as above, of value not less than Rs.

219.41 Lakh

5.3 The average annual turnover of the bidder, in the preceding three (3) completed

financial years ending with financial year 2017-18 shall not be less than Rs. 274.27

Lakh

6 NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel/ withdraw the IFB for

subject Package without assigning any reason whatsoever and in such case no

bidder / intending bidder shall have any claim arising out of such action.

7 Issuance of bid documents to any bidder shall not construe that such bidder is

considered to be qualified. Bids shall be submitted and opened at the address

given below in the presence of bidderbs representatives who choose to attend the

bid opening.

8 Transfer of Bidding Documents purchased by one intending Bidder to another is

not permissible.
