Bidder shall submit the Demand Draft towards the cost of Bid Document / Tender Fee

alongwith the envelope containing the Bid Security. However, Micro and Small Enterprises

(MSEs) registered with District Industries Centres or Khadi and Village Industries Commission or

Khadi and Village Industries Board or Coir Board or National Small Industries Corporation or

Directorate of Handicrafts and Handloom or any other body specified by Ministry of Micro, Small

and Medium Enterprises as per MSMED Act 2006,for goods produced and services rendered,

shall be issued the bid documents free of cost and shall be exempted from paying Earnest

Money Deposit//Bid Security.

. Demand Draft can be prepared in favour of NTPC Ltd., Payable at Shaktinagar and

shall be submitted alongwith the documents being submitted to NTPC in Hard copies

as mentioned in ITB/BDS, else Bid shall not be opened by NTPC.

Bid Security and Tender fee shall be submitted in a sealed envelope separately

offline by the stipulated bid submission closing date and time at the address given

below. Any bid without an acceptable. Bid Security and Tender fee shall be treated

as non-responsive by the employer and shall not be opened.

. QUALIFYING REQUIREMENT FOR BIDDERS

.1.1 The bidder should be manufacturer or authorized representative of manufacturer

of High Pressure Control Valves of 2500 class or above.

.1.2 The bidder should have supplied Control Valves for Reheater spray station or

Super heater spray station or Feed regulating station of Thermal Power Plants of

500MW or above capacity in NTPC/ other power utilities during last 7 years, ending

last day of the month previous to the month of NIT, having minimum contract values

as indicated below:

a) Three executed/completed contract as above, of value not less than Rs. 117 Lakh

each.

b) Two executed/completed contracts, as above, of value not less than Rs. 147 Lakh

each.

c) One executed/completed contract, as above, of value not less than Rs. 234 Lakh.

.1.3. The average annual turnover of the bidder in the preceding three (3) completed

financial years ending with Financial year 2016-17/2017-2018 shall be not less than

Rs. 293 Lakh.

NOTE:

a) In a tender the authorized representative on behalf of the Principal/OEM or

Principal/OEM itself can bid but both cannot bid simultaneously for the same item/

product in the same tender.

b) If an authorized representative submits bid on behalf of the Principal/OEM, the

same agent shall not submit a bid on behalf of another Principal/OEM in the same

tender for the same item/ product.

NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel/ withdraw the IFB for

subject Package without assigning any reason whatsoever and in such case no

bidder / intending bidder shall have any claim arising out of such action.

Issuance of bid documents to any bidder shall not construe that such bidder is

considered to be qualified. Bids shall be submitted and opened at the address

given below in the presence of bidder’s representatives who choose to attend the

bid opening.

Transfer of Bidding Documents purchased by one intending Bidder to another is

not permissible.
