ANY BID NOT ACCOMPANIED BY AN ACCEPTABLE EMD/BID SECURITY IN A
SEPARATE SEALED ENVELOPE SHALL BE REJECTED BY THE EMPLOYER AS BEING
NON-RESPONSIVE AND RETURNED TO THE BIDDERS WITHOUT BEING OPENED.

.0 QUALIFYING REQUIREMENT FOR BIDDERS
1
. The bidder should be a manufacturer of Online Degassed Cation Conductivity Analyzer
OR
An authorized dealer/distributor/channel partner/ subsidiary of the manufacturer

. The bidder should have successfully executed purchase orders for supply of Online
Degassed Cation Conductivity Analyzer with either of the following criteria during last seven
years as on the date of the bid opening:
a) Three executed orders each costing not less than INR 26.67 lacs.
OR
b) Two executed orders each costing not less than INR 33.34 lacs.
OR
c) One executed order costing not less than INR 53.34 lacs
3.The average annual financial turnover of the bidder during last Three (3) financial years
ending on 31st March 2017/2018 should not be less than INR 66.67 Lacs.
Notes:
A. The word executed means that the bidder should have achieved the progress specified in
the QR even if the total contract is not completed / closed.
B. Other income shall not be considered for arriving at annual turnover.
C. In cases where audited results for the last preceding financial year as on the date of Techno
commercial bid opening are not available , the financial results certified by a practicing
Chartered Accountant shall be considered acceptable. In case, Bidder is not able to submit the
certificate from practicing chartered accountant certifying its financial parameters, the audited
results of three consecutive financial years preceding the last financial years shall be
considered for evaluating the financial parameters.

.1 Notwithstanding anything stated above, the Employer reserves the right to assess the
capabilities and capacity of the Bidder / his collaborators / associates / subsidiaries / group
companies to perform the contract, should the circumstances warrant such assessment in the
overall interest of the Employer.

.0 NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel/withdraw the NIT without
assigning any reason whatsoever and in such case no bidder/intending bidder shall have any
claim arising out of such action.
