NTPC Khargone invites tenders from eligible bidders for Procurement of telephone  
cables with distribution panels, fibre and UTP cables for NTPC Khargone STPP through e-  
tendering without reverse auctioning as per the scope of work briefly mentioned at  
para 4.0 below:

.0 Qualifying Requirements:  
.1 Technical Criteria:

The bidder should have successfully executed similar works during last seven (7) years reckoned as  
on the date of Techno-Commercial bid opening as per the following criteria:  
Executed value not less than Rs. 15.50 Lakhs in a single contract.  
OR  
Executed value not less than Rs. 9.69 Lakhs in two contracts each.  
OR  
Executed value not less than Rs. 7.75 Lakhs in three contracts each.  
Note:

.1) “Similar works” means any work which includes supply of Telephone Cables (Polythene  
insulated Jelly Filled cable (PIJF)/ PVC cable)/ Fiber Optic Cables/ UTP Cables/ Telephone  
Distribution boxes/ HDPE pipes. The bidder shall furnish the relevant documentary  
evidence for the work. Executed value shall be arrived by adding the values of Telephone  
Cables, Fiber Optic Cables, UTP Cables, Telephone Distribution boxes, HDPE pipes. Supply  
of telephone cables is mandatory in the work.

.2) “Executed” means the bidder should have achieved the criteria specified in the QR, even if  
the total contract is not completed/closed. In case of contracts under execution as on date  
of techno commercial bid opening, the value of work executed till such date will be  
considered provided the same is certified by the employer.

.2 Financial Criteria:  
The average annual turnover of the Bidder, in the preceding three (03) financial years as on the date  
of Techno-Commercial bid opening shall not be less than Rs. 19.37 Lakh.  
In case where audited results for the last financial year as on the date of Techno-commercial bid  
opening are not available, the financial results certified by a practicing Chartered Accountant shall  
be considered acceptable. In case, Bidder is not able to submit the Certificate from practicing  
Chartered Accountant certifying its financial parameters, the audited results of three consecutive  
financial years preceding the last financial year shall be considered for evaluating the financial  
parameters. Further, a Certificate would be required from the CEO/CFO as per the format enclosed  
in the bidding documents stating that the Financial results of the Company are under audit as on the  
date of Techno-commercial bid opening and the Certificate from the practicing Chartered  
Accountant certifying the financial parameters is not available.

While computing the annual turnover other Income shall not be considered.  
Notwithstanding anything stated above, the Employer reserves the right to assess the  
capability and capacity of the bidder/ his collaborator/associates/ subsidiaries/ group  
companies to perform the contract, should the circumstances warrant such assessment in  
the overall assessment in the interest of the Employer.

.0 Brief scope of work:  
Scope of work for the package “Procurement of Telephone Cables with Distribution Panels, Fiber  
&
UTP Cables for NTPC Khargone” shall include Supply of PIJF armored Telephone Cables of  
different sizes, PVC Sheathed Unarmored Telephone Cables of different sizes, Single mode Fiber  
Optic Cables of different sizes, CAT 6 UTP Cable, 32mm diameter HDPE pipes, Indoor junction  
box and outdoor enclosures” complete as per direction of Engineer–in–Charge.

.0 Tender documents are Nontransferable. Only the bidder, in whose name the tender  
documents are downloaded, is allowed to submit offer. No bidder other than the original  
bidder in whose name the tender documents are sold / downloaded can submit the offer.

.0 Issuance of Bidding Documents to any bidder shall not construe that bidder is considered  
qualified.  
.0 NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel / withdraw the Invitation for bids  
without assigning any reason whatsoever and in such case no bidder / intending bidder shall  
have any claim arising out of such action.
