.0 Qualifying Requirements:

In addition to satisfactory fulfillment of the Qualifying requirement stipulated in section – ITB

(

Instructions to Bidders) of Bid documents, the following shall also apply:

1.0 Technical Criteria

1.1 The bidder should be a manufacturer/supplier of Cable Fault locator.

.2 The bidder should have supplied Cable Fault Locators during the last seven (07) years as

on the date of bid opening in either of the following:

Single order of value not less than Rs. 56.64 Lakhs.

Two orders of value not less than Rs. 35.40 Lakhs each.

Three orders of value not less than Rs.28.32 Lakhs each.

2.0 Financial Criteria:

.1The average annual turnover of the bidder, in the preceding three financial years as on the

date of bid opening shall not be less than Rs. 70.80 Lakhs (Rupees Seventy Lakhs

Eighty Thousand only).

3.0 Notes:

a) In case where audited results for the last financial year as on the date of Techno-commercial

bid opening are not available, the financial results certified by a practicing Chartered

Accountant shall be considered acceptable. In case, Bidder is not able to submit the

Certificate from practicing Chartered Accountant certifying its financial parameters, the audited

results of three consecutive financial years preceeding the last financial year shall be

considered for evaluating the financial parameters. Further, a certificate would be required

from the CEO/CFO/Proprietor/Partner that the financial results of the Company are under

audit as on the date of Techno-commercial bid opening and the certificate from practicing

Chartered Accountant certifying the financial parameters is not available.

b) In case the manufacturer is from outside India, he can have an associate/collaboration with an

Indian counterpart for supply. However, the manufacturer shall meet the technical criteria at

1.0 above.

c) For the purpose of arriving at the executed value of work specified at 1.2 above, basic amount

only shall be considered. In case of a contract inclusive of Taxes, agency has to provide the

break-up of basic and tax.

d) Other income shall not be considered for arriving at annual turnover.

e) The value of the Contract completed in the preceding seven (7) years reckoned as on date of

techno commercial bid opening, even if it has been started earlier, will also be considered for

establishing the qualifying requirements.

f) The word “Supplied” means: bidder should have achieved the criteria specified in above QR

even if the total contract is not completed / closed.

g) The bidder should have valid PAN number and GST registration number and the relevant

documents shall be submitted along with bid proposal.

h) In case the equipment is manufactured from outside India, service support of the equipment

should be available in India. Bidder shall submit documentary proof of service support in India.

i) The bidder should submit the documentary proofs for establishing the QR requirements at 1.0

and 2.0 above.

The scope covers SUPPLY OF CABLE FAULT LOCATOR to NTPC Simhadri.

1) SUPPLY OF CABLE FAULT LOCATOR. - Qty: 1 NO

requested to refer detailed technical specification in our tender documents.

contradiction between short text of item(s) and complete technical specification of the item(s),

ONLY COMPLETE TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION OF THAT ITEM SHOULD BE CONSIDERED FOR THE

SUBMISSION OF OFFER AND SAME SHALL BE CONSIDERED FOR EVALUATION

.0 Tender documents are Non transferable. Only the bidder, in whose name the tender

documents are downloaded, is allowed to submit offer. No bidder other than the original

bidder in whose name the tender documents are sold / downloaded can submit the offer.

.0 Issuance of Bidding Documents to any bidder shall not construe that bidder is considered

qualified.

.0 NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel / withdraw the Invitation for bids

without assigning any reason whatsoever and in such case no bidder / intending bidder shall

have any claim arising out of such action.
