3.0Bid Security and Integrity Pact (if applicable) shall be submitted in a sealed envelope separately offline/online by the stipulated bid submission closing date and time at the address given below. Any bid without an acceptable Bid Security and Integrity Pact (if applicable) shall be treated as non-responsive by the employer and shall not be opened.

4.0A complete set of Bidding Documents may be downloaded by any interested Bidder on payment (non-refundable) of the cost of the documents as mentioned above in the form of a crossed account Payee demand draft in favour of NTPC Ltd., Payable at

SONEBHADRA or directly through the payment gateway at our SRM Site (https://etender.ntpclakshya.co.in/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/bbpstart). For logging on to the SRM Site, the bidder would require vendor code and SRM user id and password which can be obtained by submitting a questionnaire available at our SRM site as well as at NTPC tender site (www.ntpctender.com). First time users not allotted any vendor code are required to approach NTPC at least three working days prior to Document Sale Close date alongwith duly filled in questionnare for issue of vendor code and SRM user id/password.

5.0Brief Scope of Work & other specific detail

PROCUREMENT OF VALVES FOR ASH HANDLING SYSTEM

IMPORTANT NOTE: These salient technical features are mentioned only to facilitate the prospective bidders to prima-facie understand the requirements under the tender and shall not in any way limit or alter the scope of work and technical features/specification of equipment/system/services covered in bidding document. Detailed provisions in regard of scope of work and technical features/specification of equipment/system/services, contained in the bidding documents shall be final and binding.

6.0Prospective bidders from U.P. State are compulsorily required to provide TIN number at the time of purchase of bidding documents.

7.0Qualifying Requirements for Bidders:

1.Average annual turnover of the bidder in the preceding three (03) financial years as on the Last day of the month previous to the one in which applications are invited should not be less than Rs. 17.65 Lacs.

2.The bidder must have experience of having successfully executed purchase order for supply of different types of valves of 50 mm and above to any industry during last 7 years ending last day of the month previous to the one in which applications are invited should be either of the following:

2.1 Three orders of value not less than Rs. 7.06 Lacs each.

OR

2.2 Two orders of value not less that Rs.8.82 lacs each.

OR

2.3 Single order value not less than Rs 14.12 lacs each.

3.Bidder must be a Manufacturer or Dealer of 50 mm or above size Gate Valve or Glove Valve or Plug Valve or Butterfly Valve. Dealer Should be specifically authorized by the manufacture for participating in this bid. Each Manufacturer shall submit only one bid directly or through their specifically authorized dealer.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

i. The word executed means that the bidder should have achieved the progress as specified in the QR even if the total contract is not completed / closed.

ii.Other income shall not be considered for arriving at annual turnover.

iii.In cases where audited results for the last financial year as on date of techno commercial bid opening are not available, the financial results certified by a practicing Chartered Accountant shall be considered acceptable. In case, bidder is not able to submit the Certificate from practicing chartered accountant certifying its financial parameters, the audited results of three consecutive financial year preceding the last financial year shall be considered for evaluating the financial parameters.

Further, a certificate would be required from the CEO / CFO as per the format enclosed in the bidding documents stating that the financial results of the company are under audit as on date of the techno commercial bid opening and the certificate from practicing chartered accountant certifying the financial parameters is not available.

8.0Issuance of Bidding Documents to any bidder shall not construe that bidder is considered qualified.

9.0NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel/withdraw the NIT for the subject package without assigning any reason whatsoever and in such case no bidder/intending bidder shall have any claim arising out of such action.

11. REGARDING TENDER FEES (this is in continuation of Sl. No.4 above):

1.Tender fee may be submitted in the form of a Crossed Account Payee Demand Draft in favour of NTPC Limited and en-cashable at State Bank of India, Bijpur (Rihand Nagar) branch code no. 7523 OR Union Bank of India, Rihand Nagar Branch code no. 550116 and same may be send to the address mentioned at s.no.10 above well in advance before document sale close date.

2.MSE vendors having valid Micro and Small Enterprise Certificate / Udyog Adhar Registration shall be exempted from payment of Tender Fee for registered goods only. Bidders seeking, exemption should enclose a photocopy of valid registration certificate giving details such as validity, monetary limit, stores etc. Same may be send to the address mentioned at s.no.10 above well in advance before document sale close date.

3.Bid document is not transferable.
