5. Bidders must be having valid separate provident fund registration code no (if applicable) issued by
the concerned regional provident fund commissioner, and PAN.
6. The technical bid must be accompanied with the following documentary evidence for each offered
vehicle separately.
a) Attested copy of R.C Book /Road tax, comprehensive insurance ,pollution control certificate, driving
license of driver (One driving license for 12 hrs duty and two driving license in case of 24 hrs duty).
b) Attested photo state-copy of taxi permit and commercial permit (if any).
c) Attested photo state-copy of P.F registration code no.(if applicable) with regional provident fund
commissioner concerned and PAN.
7. Notwithstanding anything stated above, the owner reserves the right to assess bidder’s capability
and capacity to perform the contract, should the circumstances warrant such assessment in the
overall interest of NTPC Ltd and decision of NTPC in this regard shall be final.
8. The bidding documents shall be issued to all the prospective bidders upon the request without
prima-facie examination of qualification status. The qualification status shall be examined by the
tender committee only during the process of evaluation. However, such issue of tender documents
will not automatically mean that bidders are considered qualified.
9. If a bidder intends to offer more than one vehicle of same/different category in that case, they shall
have to submit all details as per requirements of the technical bid for each vehicles being offered
and quote rates in the commercial bid accordingly.
10. Envelope containing Technical Bid, Tender fee & EMD, and letter of undertaking will be opened 1
st
as on the technical Bid Opening date. Commercial Bids of only those bidders will be opened on
scheduled date who meets the criteria of Pre-Qualifying Requirements as specified above.
11. NTPC shall not be responsible for any loss/ postal delays and reserves the right to split any or all the
quotation without assigning and reasons thereof.
Evaluation Criteria:
12. 1. Part order may be issued to lowest bidder in each cotegory of vehicles for the no of vehicles
offered by lowest
13. bidder.
14. 2. L2, L3 ........etc. bidders must have to accept the lowest rate for balance quantity in each cotegory
of vehicles to
15. be deployed.
16. 3. Bidder must have to submit filled detailes of Annexure 1 in Two Sheets for complete details asked
in annexuretype

of vehicles, registration no. road tax detail, commercial vehicle permit details etc.
Criteria for Selection & Award:
18. Panel of bidders has been made in the ascending order of their quoted/ evaluated rates per
month for all the bidders whose technical & commercial bids have been found to be valid.
Category of vehicle has been considered as per their technical bid. (Ref: Pg-179-180)
19. In case two bidders have quoted same rates & terms and conditions, the one with latest model
has been given preference.
20. Based on the above criteria, three panels for each category of vehicle has been made.
