QUALIFYING REQUIREMENTS:
1.1 Bidder should either be a company registered under the companies Act, 1956 or a
partnership / proprietorship firm.
1.2 Bidder should be registered / working with any public sector undertaking / government /
semi-government organization or a reputed private company / organization.
1.3 The bidder should have executed construction or maintenance of bituminous carpeted road
in any PSU/ central or state Govt. deptt./undertaking or public limited company, within
preceding seven (07) years as on the date of bid opening and meeting either of the
following: -
Single work having contract value not less than Rs. 78.04 Lakh
OR
Two works each having contract value not less than Rs. 48.76 Lakh
OR
Three works each having contract value not less than Rs. 39.02 Lakh
1.4 The average annual turnover of the bidder in the last three financial years shall not be less
than Rs. 97.55 Lakh
1.5 Bidder should have a valid provident fund code number & PAN from IT Department. The
bidder should have a GST registration.
NOTE: The relevant documents such as LOA, proof of execution of worketc. shall be submitted along
with the bid. All claims need to be supported by documentary evidence and necessary contact
details incl. names, telephone No. and e- mail IDs of the customers.
Other Income shall not be considered for arriving at the annual turnover.
The word 'executed' means, as on BOD the bidder should have achieved the criteria specified in the
above QR even if the contract is not completed/ closed.
A work completed in the preceding seven (7) years reckoned as on date of techno- commercial bid
opening, even if it has been started earlier, will also be considered as meeting the QR.
In cases where audited results for the last preceding financial year are not available, certification of
financial statements from a practicing chartered accountant shall also be considered acceptable. In
case, Bidder is not able to submit the certificate from practicing chartered accountant certifying its
financial parameters, the audited results of three consecutive financial years preceding the last
financial year shall be considered for evaluating the financial parameters.
NTPC has the right to assess capability & capacity of the bidder.
Joint Ventures/ Consortiums not permitted for bidding.
