INVITATION FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI) FROM RENEWABLE
ENERGY DEVELOPERS REGARDING GRID CONNECTIVITY
THROUGH NTPC GENERATING SWITCHYARD

Introduction:
NTPC Limited is the largest power generating company of India. It was
incorporated in the year 1975, with the objective of planning, promoting and
organizing an integrated development of power stations in India. It has today
emerged as an ‘Integrated Power Major’, with a significant presence in the entire
value chain of power generation business. With a current generating capacity of
more than 50000 MW. NTPC has been entrusted target of 130GW by 2032
including 32GW through Renewable Energy.
NTPC invites Expression of Interest from reputed developers in India who have
experience in executing renewable energy projects or who wish to develop
renewable energy projects near vicinity of NTPC power Stations / Projects.
Purpose of Inviting EOI
Through this EOI, NTPC intends explore the potential Renewable Energy
capacity considering NTPC existing generating switchyards for power evacuation
front and to identify the probable renewable energy developers (wind & solar) in
India who wish to develop renewable energy project near vicinity of NTPC power
Stations / Projects and utilize Inter State Transmission System (ISTS) switchyard
connectivity for power evacuation.
This invitation for Expression of Interest is not intended for empanelment or pre
qualification of bidders. Separate NITs shall be floated by NTPC for Renewable
Energy projects as and when required.
Eligibility
Firms of repute, in India, who have executed / developed or wish to execute /
develop renewable power projects and have the capabilities and competencies to
undertake such an assignment, are invited to submit their application for
Expression of Interest (EOI).
Submission of EOI
Parties are required to submit the information as mentioned below in their
application for EOI. The details should be submitted in the prescribed formats
along with supporting documents.
a. Company Profile
b. Experience details of the renewable project executed /developed in past.
c. Any other information, which the party may like to furnish in support of his
application.
You may note that NTPC reserves the right, solely at its discretion to modify or
annul the process without assigning any reason whatsoever.
Prospective parties may download the detailed ‘Invitation for Expression of
Interest’ along with Schedules free of cost from www.ntpctender.com upto
01.06.2018 and submit their application upto 08.06.2018 on their Letter Head
along with the required information in original along with three (3) copies in a
sealed cover super-scribing “Expression of Interest (EOI) for Renewable Energy
Grid Connectivity Through NTPC Generating Switchyard”, at the address given
