3.0 Bid Security and Integrity Pact (if applicable) shall be submitted in a sealed envelope separately offline/online by the
stipulated bid submission closing date and time at the address given below. Any bid without an acceptable Bid Security and Integrity
Pact (if applicable) shall be treated as non-responsive by the employer and shall not be opened.
4.0 A complete set of Bidding Documents may be downloaded by any interested Bidder on payment (non-refundable) of the cost
of the documents as mentioned above in the form of a crossed account Payee demand draft in favour of NTPC Ltd., Payable at
DISTRICT PEDDAPALLI or directly through the payment gateway at our SRM Site
(https://etender.ntpclakshya.co.in/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/bbpstart). For logging on to the SRM Site, the bidder would require vendor code
and SRM user id and password which can be obtained by submitting a questionnaire available at our SRM site as well as at NTPC
tender site (www.ntpctender.com). First time users not allotted any vendor code are required to approach NTPC at least three working
days prior to Document Sale Close date alongwith duly filled in questionnare for issue of vendor code and SRM user id/password.
5.0 Brief Scope of Work & other specific detail
STAGE-2 ECONOMISER COILS ADDING 28% HEAT SURFACE AREA (THIRD BANK ADDITION) AND REPLACEMENT
OF EXISTING TWO ECO BANKS WITH NEW ECO COILS DURING 2018-19 BOILER OH - RSTPS
6.0 Prospective bidders from U.P. State are compulsorily required to provide TIN number at the time of purchase of bidding
documents.
7.0 Qualifying Requirements for Bidders:
The bidder should:
a) Have average annual turnover not less than Rs46.41 Lakhs during the last three (03) financial years as on the date of bid opening.
b) Have executed the work(s) of "overhauling or erection of pressure parts of Boiler" in unit(s) of 200 MW or above capacity in
Thermal Power
Station during the last Seven (7) years as on the date of bid opening.
c) Have executed the work(s) of "Mechanical Maintenance/ Mechanical Erection/ Mechanical overhaul" in unit(s) of 62.5 MW or
above capacity
in Thermal Power Stations during the last Seven (07) Years as on the date of bid opening for the value of contracts mentioned below:
One (01) work of value not less than Rs37.13 lakhs
(or)
Two (02) works each of value not less than Rs23.21 lakhs.
(or)
Three (03) works each of value not less than Rs18.56 lakhs.
d) Should have an approved IBR Boiler repairer/erector license (Special class) with the approval of any state Chief Inspector of
Boilers(CIB) at the time of submission of bid documents. In case an award is made in favour of the bidder, the bidder shall
necessarily obtain an endorsement by Director of Boilers, Telangana as applicable to NTPC Ramagundam, within 15 days of the date
of intimation of award of contract. To ensure compliance of this clause the bidder shall submit an additional security amounting to
Rs. 2,00,000.00 (Rupees Two Lakh only) along with the bid in the form of Demand Draft/ Bank Guarantee and this additional
security will be released on submission of the said endorsement. It is to be noted by the bidders that failure to submit the said
endorsement by Director of Boilers, Telangana as applicable to NTPC Ramagundam within the said period of 15 days shall amount to
failure in compliance of contract conditions and may invite corresponding actions like forfeiture of EMD and additional security,
cancellation of contract, etc as deemed fit by NTPC Limited.
The additional security of Rs. 2,00,000.00 is not applicable for bidders having IBR Boiler repairer/erector license (Special Class)
from Director/CI of Boilers, Telangana State.
8.0 Issuance of Bidding Documents to any bidder shall not construe that bidder is considered qualified.
9.0 NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel/withdraw the NIT for the subject package without assigning any
reason whatsoever and in such case no bidder/intending bidder shall have any claim arising out of such action.
