1. NTPC Central Procurement Cell intends to enlist “Startup manufacturers” in its vendor
enlistment process for supply of following items.

2. The enlistments to be made will be applicable to procurement for all NTPC O&M Stations.
In these enlistments Startup manufacturers will be enlisted along with normal / SME
manufacturers of these items.
However qualifying requirements & conditions for startup manufacturers will be different
from that applicable for manufacturers other than startups.

3. The general conditions applicable for Startup manufacturers will be as per following.
(i) The company should be certified as ‘Start Up; by Inter-Ministerial Board of Certification as constituted
by Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion from time to time.
(ii) The Company product should have been tested and cleared from a Govt. approved third party laboratory
as per applicable standards (IS/IEC etc).
(iii) The factory set up shall be inspected by NTPC for checking the suitability for taking up manufacturing
of the product by start up, before declaring it qualified. Inspection requirement shall not be waived off.
(iv) The product shall be manufactured only in an Indian Manufacturing facilities / works.
(v) No Turnover requirement shall be specified.
(vi) Start up Contractor, shall furnish performance guarantee for an amount of 10% of the ex-works cost of
the equipment(s) in addition to the contract performance guarantee to be submitted by the contractor.
4. Now online applications from eligible startup manufacturers (as per stipulated qualifying
requirements) are invited through NTPC Vendor enlistment portal www.vendor.ntpc.co.in.
For submitting the online applications & the required credentials/ documents, interested
applicants need to create a login in this portal. There is no application fee.
5. The enlistment process is always open & continuous, but the last date of receipt of
applications in the current ongoing enlistment cycle is 30.6.2018 (this date and other points
may change, details will be available on www.vendor.ntpc.co.in).
