1.0 NTPC Limited (hereinafter referred to as NTPC or the Owner) have requirement of Design, Manufacture,
Supply, Erection, Commissioning & PG Test of Dust Extraction system for NTPC-Kudgi Coal Handling Plant
2.0
NTPC invites online bids on Single Stage Two Envelope bidding basis (Envelope-I: Techno-Commercial
Bid & Envelope-II: Price Bid) from eligible bidders for aforesaid Package. In Govt E procurement web site
2.0 NTPC intends to finance the subject package through Own Resources.
4.0 Detailed specifications, scope of work and terms & conditions are given in the bidding documents, which
are available for examination and sale at the address given at para 10.0 below and as per the following
schedule:

Date & Time for opening of Price Bids shall be intimated separately to the bidders whose Techno-
Commercial Bid are found to be acceptable.
5.0 All bids must be accompanied by Bid Security for an amount equivalent INR 6,00,000/- (Indian Rupees Six
Lakhs only)
The Bid Security in Original shall be submitted in a separate sealed envelope before the stipulated bid
submission closing date and time. In case acceptable Bid Security in a separate sealed envelope is
not received then online Bid shall be rejected by Owner as being non-responsive and shall not be
opened.
Bidder shall also submit the DD/BC towards the cost of bidding documents/ MSME/NSIC
certificates in a separate sealed envelope before the stipulated bid submission closing date and time. In
case acceptable Bid Security in a separate sealed envelope is not received then online Bid shall be
rejected by Owner as being non-responsive and shall not be opened.
6.0 QUALIFYING REQUIREMENT FOR BIDDERS
The Bidders who wishes to participate in the bidding shall satisfactorily establish that they
fulfil the Qualifying Requirements stipulated hereunder:
1. The bidder should have supplied, erected and commissioned
OR
supplied, supervised erection and commissioning
of at least one Venturi Scrubber type wet type dust extraction system of air flow of
minimum 50000 m

/hr or higher capacity
in coal handling plant/crusher house during
the last seven (7) years as on the date of bid opening and working satisfactorily for
a period of one year or more.
2 .The bidder should have successfully executed contracts for supply, erection and
commissioning OR supply, supervision of erection and commissioning of dust
extraction system/dust suppression system in India having the following contract
values during the preceding seven (07) years as on the date of bid opening.
a. Single Executed/Completed Contract of value not less than Rs. 240 Lakhs.
OR
b. Two Executed/Completed contracts of each having value not less than Rs.150
Lakhs.
OR
c. Three Executed/Completed contracts of each having value not less than Rs. 120
Lakhs.
FINANCIAL CRITERIA:
1.The average annual Turnover of the Bidder, in the preceding three (3) financial years ending
31.03.2017 shall not be less than Rs. 299.76 Lakhs (Rupees Two Hundred Ninety
Nine Lakh Seventy Six Thousand only).
2. The Bidder has to furnish audited financial statements in support of turnover. If audited
results for the preceding financial year are not available, certification of financial
statements from a practicing Chartered Accountant shall also be considered acceptable. In
case the Bidder is not able to submit the Certificate from practicing Chartered Accountant
certifying its financial parameters, the audited results of three consecutive financial years
preceding the last financial year has to be furnished.
NOTES:
(i) Other income shall not be considered for arriving at annual turnover.
(ii)The word ‘executed’ means that the bidder should have achieved the progress specified in
the QR even if the total contract is not completed/closed
.
Bidder to submit copies of work
order/purchase order giving details of work executed and user certificate for performance.
If user certificate is not available then proof of execution in terms of payment/delivery challan
/ Invoice etc to be provided.
7.0 NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel/withdraw the Invitation for Bids without assigning
any reason whatsoever and in such case no bidder / intending bidder shall have any claim arising out of
such action.
8.0 Prospective bidders from Uttar Pradesh (U.P) State, India are compulsorily required to provide TIN number
at the time of purchase of bidding documents from Office of NTPC.

9.0 Issuance of bidding documents to any bidder shall not construe that such bidder is considered to be
qualified. Bids shall be submitted online and opened at the address given below.
