Invitation for Expression of Interest (EOI) for allocation of Pond Ash on free of charge basis. from
Indira Gandhi Super Thermal Power Project, District Jhajjar, Haryana.
Aravali Power Company Private Limited (APCPL), a Joint Venture of NTPC Limited, HPGCL &
IPGCL, invites Expression of Interest (EOI) from interested parties such as manufacturers of Pond
ash/ clay Pond ash based–Bricks, Blocks & Tiles, Central and State road construction agencies,
Public Works departments, agencies engaged in backfilling or stowing of mines and other utilities
such as cement manufacturers in the prescribed format for issue of Pond Ash, on free of charge
basis, from Pond of APCPL’s Thermal Power Project namely Indira Gandhi Super Thermal Power
Project (IGSTPP) located at Village Jharli, Distt. Jhajjar in Haryana which may be considered for
enlistment and allocation. The Pond ash quantity that may be made available to such parties is as
given below:

Actual available Pond Ash may vary depending upon actual utilization of plant capacity and
generation of Pond Ash.
Interested parties are requested to submit their requirement as per enclosed format.
Pond Ash to be supplied would be on “as available basis” from Pond or from any other location
(inside/outside the plant premises) and interested parties shall have to arrange transportation at
their own cost in Hyva / trucks for Pond ash. APCPL/ IGSTPP reserves the right to allocate Pond
ash on free of charge basis as may be allowed under the Law and as defined in the ‘Terms &
Conditions’ applicable for this EOI. The Supply of Pond ash may be made free of charge to
eligible agencies as defined by MoEF’s Gazette Notification dated 03.11.2009 read with latest
amendment, if any and as per Ash Utilization Policy of APCPL. In case demand (as assessed by
APCPL from the documents of the respective agencies) for free supply of Pond ash exceeds the
supply to be made under the law, the allocation of quantity of such Pond ash may be done on pro-
rata basis at the sole discretion of APCPL/IGSTPP. APCPL/IGSTPP may enlist/empanel
interested parties for supply of Pond Ash. The detailed methodology for allotment of Pond ash is
as brought out in Terms & Conditions attached with tender documents.
