INVITATION OF EXPRESSION FOR SUPPLY OF FLY ASH BRICKS FROM
INDIRA GANDHI SUPER THERMAL POWER PROJECT JHARLI, JHAJJAR
(HARYANA)

1. Introduction : -
Aravali Power Company Private Limited (henceforth referred to as APCPL) intends
to promote
utilization of fly ash Bricks as a statutory replacement to conventional
red bricks (as mandated by MoEF Gazette Notification on Ash Utilization dated
14.09.1999 read with its amendments. To facilitate this, APCPL wishes to supply
fly
ash bricks for a period of 1 (One) year. APCPL thus invites Expression of Interest/
bids from eligible and interested buyers for supply of Good Quality fly ash Bricks
(Class 75 Grade) from INDIRA GANDHI SUPER THERMAL POWER PROJECT
JHARLI, JHAJJAR (HARYANA) (henceforth referred to as IGSTPP) as mentioned
below:
2. Scope of Supply:
The fly ash bricks shall be supplied to the interested buyers, who are declared
successful in the bidding process, from the designated delivery
point(s) i.e.
ash brick plant of the thermal power project or any other location designated
by supplier).The buyer(s) shall make
arrangements for taking delivery in their
trucks and/or thru’ any other mode of transportation acceptable to supplier
with all labour. T&P, transport etc as directed by EIC. The

4. Downloading of Bid Documents
A complete set of prescribed Bid Documents can also be downloaded from the
websites mentioned at Para 9 below. However payment of Rs. 1185 /- for offline
Purchase and Rs 1330/- for online purchase towards the cost of bid documents has
to be submitted separately along with submitted Bid in
the form of Demand Draft in favour of Aravali Power Company Private Limited,
payable at Jharli (Jhajjar) or Bahadurgarh, Haryana. Non-Submission of separate
Demand Draft towards Bid Documents downloaded from website shall render the
bid invalid and will not be considered further.
5. Bid Security
a) All Bids must be accompanied by requisite amount of Bid Security as per para 3
above in the form of Bank Guarantee/Crossed Demand Draft in favour of Aravali
Power Company Private Limited”, payable at Jharli (Jhajjar) or Bahadurgarh,
Haryana.
b) Bids not accompanied by requisite Bid Security, in a separate sealed envelope or
bids accompanied by Bid Security of inadequate value or not in acceptable form
shall not be entertained and in such cases bids shall be returned to the bidders
without being opened.
6. Qualifying Requirements for the Bidders
a) Bidder should be an individual, or a proprietorship or a partnership firm or a Public
Limited or Private Limited Company.
b) Bidder must have a valid GST Number issued by Govt.’s relevant tax authority.
7. Deadline for submission of Bids
a)
Bids will be received and opened by the supplier at the address specified in para 8
below as per time schedule indicated at para 3 above respectively.
b)
The Bidder has the option of sending the bid by registered post / speed post or by
submitting the bid in person, so as to reach by the date and time indicated in
para
3 above.
c)
Bids submitted by fax/telex/telegram will not be accepted under any circumstances
whatsoever.
d) In case the date of Bid opening happens to fall on a holiday, the next working day
will be the date of Bid opening.
e)
The Owner reserves the right to reject any/all bid(s) which is/are not
submitted
according to the bid instructions.
