NTPC Ltd. is Government of India undertaking and India’s largest power generating company with
installed capacity of more than 53,000 MW.
NTPC invites “On-line Expression of Interest” for appointing Local Agent/ Sponsor in Sultanate
Oman to scan and tap business opportunities for NTPC in Oman in the areas of takeover of
existing power plants, developing new power plants (Coal, Gas or renewables), opportunities in
the field of consulting assignments or any other opportunity for NTPC.
The Local Agent/Sponsor will be appointed initially for a period of 1 year and may be extended
depending upon the opportunities brought by him. Remuneration of the Agent/ Sponsor shall be
“success linked” i.e. Agent will receive a percentage of contract value only if NTPC secures the
contract. It may be noted that the Agent(s) will be shortlisted based on their
experience/capabilities and fees quoted by them in the enclosed Performa at Annex-I.
Interested parties may submit the On-line EoI in the specified format along with all required
documents complete in all respects at the following email address: bipinsatya@ntpc.co.in,
bhavnadhuria@ntpc.co.in on or before 17:00 Hrs. 18.04.2018. The title of the email shall indicate
with “EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EoI) FOR APPOINTMENT OF LOCAL AGENT/ SPONSOR IN
OMAN BY NTPC FOR TAPPING BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES.”
Note: 1) EoI format can be downloaded from www.ntpctender.com or can be received by
sending the mail to bipinsatya.ntpc.co.in/bhavnadhuria@ntpc.co.in.
2) NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or annul the process without assigning
any reasons thereof.
