Procurement of 400KV 2000A Current Transformer

1.0 NTPC invites on-line bids from eligible Bidders for aforesaid package, as per the scope of work briefly
mentioned hereinafter:

Details
3.0 Bid Security and Integrity Pact (if applicable) shall be submitted in a sealed envelope separately offline
by the stipulated bid submission closing date and time at the address given below. Any bid without an
acceptable Bid Security and Integrity Pact (if applicable) shall be treated as non-responsive by
the employer and shall not be opened.
4.0 Brief Scope of Work & other specific detail: Procurement of 400KV 2000A CT’s as per attached
technical specifications and QP.
5.0 Qualifying Requirements for Bidders:
Bidder should
a) Have an average annual turnover not less than ₹ 2.43 Cr during the last three (3) financial
years as on the date of bid opening.
b) Be a manufacture of single phase Current Transformers of 400 KV rating or above and
supplied at least fifteen (15) Nos. of such Current Transformers suitable for Air insulated
Substation /Switchyard of 400 KV Or above class which must have been in operation for a
minimum period of two (2) years as on the date of bid opening.
c) Have executed order (s) for supply of 400 KV or above Switchyard equipment to any
industrial utility / organization during the last seven (7) years as on the date of bid opening
with any of the following .
Single executed order of value not less than ₹ 1.94 Cr
OR
Two executed orders of value not less than ₹ 1.21 Cr each.
OR
Three executed orders valuing not less than ₹ 0.97 Cr each.

NOTE:
(i) Word “executed” means the bidder should have achieved the progress specified in the
QR even if the total contract is not completed and the same shall be supported by the
documentary evidence in the form of Verified & paid bills, letter from owner, etc…
(ii) “Switchyard equipment” means CTs, PTs, CVTs, Circuit Breakers and Isolators.
6.0 Issuance of Bidding Documents to any bidder shall not construe that bidder is considered
qualified.
7.0 NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel/withdraw the NIT for the subject package
without assigning any reason whatsoever and in such case no bidder/intending bidder shall have any
claim arising out of such action.
