3.0 Bid Security and Integrity Pact (if applicable) shall be submitted in a sealed envelope separately offline/online by the stipulated
bid submission closing date and time at the address given below. Any bid without an acceptable Bid Security and Integrity Pact (if
applicable) shall be treated as non-responsive by the employer and shall not be opened.
4.0 A complete set of Bidding Documents may be downloaded by any interested Bidder on payment (non-refundable) of the cost of
the documents as mentioned above in the form of a crossed account Payee demand draft in favour of NTPC Ltd., Payable at Anta or
directly through the payment gateway at our SRM Site (https://etender.ntpclakshya.co.in/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/bbpstart). For logging on to
the SRM Site, the bidder would require vendor code and SRM user id and password which can be obtained by submitting a
questionnaire available at our SRM site as well as at NTPC tender site (www.ntpctender.com). First time users not allotted any vendor
code are required to approach NTPC at least three working days prior to Document Sale Close date alongwith duly filled in
questionnare for issue of vendor code and SRM user id/password.
5.0 Brief Scope of Work & other specific detail
Replacement of Drift Eliminators of STG Cooling Tower of NTPC-Anta.
6.0 Prospective bidders from U.P. State are compulsorily required to provide TIN number at the time of purchase of bidding
documents.
7.0 Qualifying Requirements for Bidders:
(Domestic Competitive Bidding)
1.0 a) The bidder should have manufactured, supplied, erected & commissioning at least 100 m3 of PVC extruded type drift
eliminator and the system supplied should be in successful operation for at least one year after the date of commissioning (as on bid
opening date).
OR
b) The bidder should be an EPC contractor & should have erected and commissioned cross flow cooling tower with PVC extruded
type drift eliminators. The agency from whom they will procure PVC extruded type drift eliminators must qualify as per requirement
in clause-a(except erection).
2.0 The bidder should have executed any one of the following similar type work during the preceding seven years from the date of
techno-commercial bid opening:
i) One similar order valuing not be less than Rs.14.02 Lacs
OR
ii) Two similar orders each valuing not less than Rs. 8.76 Lacs
OR
iii) Three similar orders each valuing not less than Rs.7.01 Lacs
3.0 The average annual turnover of the bidder during the preceding three financial years as on the date of bid opening should not be
less than INR 17.52 lakhs
Note: Bid-opening date refers to the first scheduled techno commercial bid opening date:
a.) Similar works means any work which includes "supply, installation & commissioning of PVC Extruded Type Drift Eliminators".
b.) The word #executed " mentioned above means the bidder should have achieved the criteria specified above, even if the total
contract is started earlier and/or is not completed/closed.
c.)In case of orders under execution, the value of work executed till the date of opening of Techno-commercial proposal As certified
by the client shall be considered.
d.) While computing the annual turnover other income shall not be considered.
e.)In case where audited results for the last preceding financial year not available certification of financial statement from a Chartered
Accountant shall be considered acceptable.
f.)In case of authorized representative, the vendor shall submit his financial status as per QR apart from valid authorization letter.
g.)In case of submission of bid by EPC contractor ,joint under taking signed by EPC contractor and the manufacturer from whom
supply shall be obtained, based on the criteria-#b# for the successful performance of the material during execution & subsequent
warrantee period.
8.0 Issuance of Bidding Documents to any bidder shall not construe that bidder is considered qualified.
9.0 NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel/withdraw the NIT for the subject package without assigning any
reason whatsoever and in such case no bidder/intending bidder shall have any claim arising out of such action.
