3.0 Qualifying Requirements:
1.1 The bidder should be a Manufacturer/Supplier of PU Coated MS Pipes.
1.2 Bidder should have successfully executed similar order with values as detailed below,
during the last (7) years as on date of technical bid opening.
Single order of value not less than Rs. 217.98 Lakhs
OR
Two orders of value not less than Rs. 136.24 Lakhs each
OR
Three orders of value not less than Rs. 108.99 Lakhs each.
2.0 Financial Criteria:
2.1 The average turnover of the bidder, in the preceding three financial years as on the date
of bid opening shall not be less than Rs. 272.48 Lakhs (Rupees Two hundred and
seventy two lakhs forty eight thousand only)
3.0 Notes:
a) In case where audited results for the last financial year as on the date of Techno-commercial
bid opening are not available, the financial results certified by a practicing Chartered
Account shall be considered acceptable. In case, Bidder is not able to submit the Certificate
from practicing Chartered Account certifying its financial parameters, the audited results of
three consecutive financial year’s proceeding the last financial year shall be considered for
evaluating the financial parameters. Further, a certificate would be required from the
CEO/CFO/Proprietor /Partner that the financial results of the company are under audit as
on the date of Techno-Commercial bid opening and the certificate from practicing
Chartered Account certifying the financial parameters is not available.
b) For the purpose of arriving at the executed value of work specified at 1.2 above, basic
amount only shall be considered. In case of a contract inclusive of Taxes, agency has to
provide the break-up of basic and tax.
c) Other income shall not be considered for arriving at annual turnover.
d) The value of the supplies completed in the preceding seven(7) years reckoned as on date of
techno commercial bid opening, even if it has started earlier, will also be considered for
establishing the qualifying requirements.
e) The word “executed” means; bidder should have achieved the criteria specified in above QR
even if the total order is not completed/closed.

f) The word “Similar Order” means; bidder should have supplied MS pipe of size not less than
300NB or PU coated MS Pipe of size not less than 300NB or combination of both.
g) The bidder should have valid PAN number and GST registration number and the relevant
documents shall be submitted along with bid proposal.
h) The bidder shall submit the documentary proofs for establishing the QR requirements at 1.0
and 2.0 above.
4.0 Brief scope of Supply:
The scope covers Supply of PU coated Pipes to NTPC Simhadri.
1) PIPE:MS+POLYUETHANE IN-COAT: 500NB: T-8 MM, PU COATING 2 MM THICK –QTY: 1400 MTR
2) POLYUETHANE IN-COATEDMS PIPE: 700NB: T-8MM, PU COATING 2 MM THICK – QTY: 300 MTR
Above specification is for indication only and not complete specification. Bidders are
requested to refer detailed technical specification in our tender documents.

contradiction between short text of item(s) and complete technical specification of the item(s),
ONLY COMPLETE TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION OF THAT ITEM SHOULD BE CONSIDERED FOR THE
SUBMISSION OF OFFER
AND SAME SHALL BE CONSIDERED FOR EVALUATION

5.0 A Complete set of bidding Document may be downloaded by any interested Bidder directly
through our NTPC e-procurement portal https://eprocurentpc.nic.in
6.0 Tender documents are Non transferable. Only the bidder, in whose name the tender
documents are downloaded, is allowed to submit offer. No bidder other than the original
bidder in whose name the tender documents are sold / downloaded can submit the offer.
7.0 Issuance of Bidding Documents to any bidder shall not construe that bidder is considered
qualified.
8.0 NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel / withdraw the Invitation for bids
without assigning any reason whatsoever and in such case no bidder / intending bidder shall
have any claim arising out of such action.
