NOTICE INVITING TENDER (NIT) FOR
Supply & retrofitting of Numerical relays 6.6KV Unit Switchgear

1.0 NTPC invites on-line bids from eligible Bidders for aforesaid package, as per the scope of work briefly
mentioned hereinafter:

Details
3.0 Tender Fee, Bid Security and Integrity Pact (if applicable) shall be submitted in a sealed envelope
separately offline by the stipulated bid submission closing date and time at the address given below. Any
bid without an acceptable Tender Fee, Bid Security and Integrity Pact (if applicable) shall be
treated as non-responsive by the employer and shall not be opened.
4.0 Brief Scope of Work & other specific detail: Supply and Retrofitting of Numerical relays 6.6 KV
unit switch gear as per attached Technical specifications,BOM and QP.
5.0 Qualifying Requirements for Bidders:
a)
The bidders shall be manufacturer or authorized dealer of numerical relays. The bidder or his
authorized agent/distributor/dealer must have supplied at least 100 No`s of numerical relays
with IEC 61850 in the past two years as on the date on the bid opening.
b) Average annual turnover of the bidder in the preceding three financial years as on the date of
bid opening shall not be less than Rs.90.08 Lakhs.
c) The bidder must have supplied numerical relays either directly or through his authorized
agent/ distributors/dealer during the preceding 07 years prior to date of bid opening for any
of the following values:
One order of value not less than Rs.144.13 Lakhs.

NOTE:
1) Word “executed” means the bidder should have achieved the progress specified in the QR even
if the total contract is not completed and the same shall be supported by the documentary
evidence in the form of verified &paid bills, letter from owner, etc….
6.0 Issuance of Bidding Documents to any bidder shall not construe that bidder is considered
qualified.
7.0 NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel/withdraw the NIT for the subject package
without assigning any reason whatsoever and in such case no bidder/intending bidder shall have any
claim arising out of such action.
