3.0 Bid Security and Integrity Pact (if applicable) shall be submitted in a sealed envelope separately offline/online by the stipulated bid submission closing date and time at the address given below. Any bid without an acceptable Bid Security and Integrity Pact (if applicable) shall be treated as non-responsive by the employer and shall not be opened.

4.0 A complete set of Bidding Documents may be downloaded by any interested Bidder on payment (non-refundable) of the cost of the documents as mentioned above in the form of a crossed account Payee demand draft in favour of NTPC Ltd., Payable at Sikkim or directly through the payment gateway at our SRM Site (https://etender.ntpclakshya.co.in/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/bbpstart). For logging on to the SRM Site, the bidder would require vendor code and SRM user id and password which can be obtained by submitting a questionnaire available at our SRM site as well as at NTPC tender site (www.ntpctender.com). First time users not allotted any vendor code are required to approach NTPC at least three working days prior to Document Sale Close date alongwith duly filled in questionnare for issue of vendor code and SRM user id/password.

5.0Brief Scope of Work & other specific detail

The scope of work under this specifications shall include Design, Supply, Transportation, Insurance, Storage, Erection, Site Testing and Commissioning of following equipment for External Electrification of NTPC Rammam Township at Sasbotey, West Bengal.

2.01.00Scope of Supply

2.01.01	The scope of supply under this specifications shall include Design, routine, acceptance &	type testing and Supply of
the following Equipment:

a.11/ 0.433 KV Outdoor Transformers

b.LT Switchgear, Feeder Pillar

c.11 KV Cables & Accessories

d.LT Power and Control Cables & Accessories

e. Street Lighting & Solar Lighting system including type test report of fixtures in line with technical specification

f.Cable laying and Earthing System ( Type test not required)

g.Energy meters, Meter reading Instrument, PC etc.

h.Control & Annunciation panel

i.Mandatory Spares

2.02.00Scope of Service: The scope of service shall include the following:

a)	Transportation including transit insurance to site, receipt at site, handling and storage of all materials supplied under this
specification.
b)	Taking over the materials/ equipment from Owner#s stores, in case same are to be			supplied by the Owner and their handling and
storage.
c)	Maintaining all the equipment/ materials in good condition during storage and being				responsible for the safety of the same,
keeping proper insurance, until they are		handed over to Owner.
d)	Supply of all supporting structures, fittings, fixing materials and other installation			accessories including earthing of equipments
required to complete the installation of		all the equipment.
e)	Installation, testing and commissioning and obtaining Owner#s written acceptance of				successful operation of all the equipment
supplied under this specification except		maintenance equipment and mandatory spares.
f)	Materials and components not specifically stated in this specification but which are necessary for satisfactory installation and
operation of the system shall be deemed to			have been included in the scope of work of this specification without any financial
implication to NTPC.
g)	The scope of associated and interfacing		civil works related to foundation of	transformers, Lighting poles, Feeder pillars,
Lighting Panels, etc. are included in the		Electrical scope works of erection. Minor		civil works like fixing of anchor bolts, clamps,

cleats and breaking of walls/ floor for installing conduits/ cables/ earthing conductors etc. and sealing walls/ floor afterwards, shall also be included in the Electrical scope.

However, indoor and outdoor RCC & PCC trenches for Cables (excluding buried cable trenches wherever mentioned) and civil works specified for sub-stations, switchgear building and other buildings (residential and non-residential type) shall not be under this scope of work.

h) The Contractor shall provide adequate and capable supervision for electrical installation work under this contract. The staff

provided shall be adequate to provide detailed supervision at each stage of the work, in all areas so that any improvements and modifications required to meet site conditions/layouts is effected in time.

i)	The successful Bidder is required to carry out the detailed engineering such as following:-
1)	Estimating the requirement of all materials including cables, cable trays their support angles, brackets, clamps, etc., fittings,
supports, materials for earthing and lightning protection, etc. for various work areas.
2)	Preparing cable drum length cutting schedule, etc. with the approval of the Project Manager.
(A) Preparation of following working drawings:-
(a) Layout drawings indicating the equipment dimensions/ Trench details.
(b) Foundation drawings of all electrical equipments like Transformer/ Switchgear/ Sub- station/ Lighting poles.
(c) Cable tray/ Cable route layout.
(d) Preparation of cable schedule.

(B) Preparation and submission of As Built Drawings.

The price quoted by the Contractor shall be inclusive of furnishing the above drawings and carrying out the above engineering.

6.0 Prospective bidders from U.P. State are compulsorily required to provide TIN number at the time of purchase of bidding documents.

7.0 Qualifying Requirements for Bidders:

8.0Issuance of Bidding Documents to any bidder shall not construe that bidder is considered qualified.

9.0 NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel/withdraw the NIT for the subject package without assigning any reason whatsoever and in such case no bidder/intending bidder shall have any claim arising out of such action.
