QUALIFYING REQUIREMENT
1. Repair and Strengthening of Cooling Tower and DM Plant clarifiers, Power Plant-II,
NSPCL-Bhilai.
1. The average annual turnover of the Bidder in the preceding three (03) financial years as on
the date of Techno-commercial bid opening shall not be less than Rs. 262.19 lakhs.
2. The bidder should be authorized applicator for last 03 years of manufacturers of Carbon or
Glass Fiber Wrapping material used for Repair/ Rehabilitation/ Strengthening of Hydraulic
RCC Structures.
3. The bidder should have executed either of the following completed similar works within
preceding 7 (seven) years reckoned as on the date of bid opening:-
Three similar completed works costing not less than the amount equal to Rs. 104.88 Lakhs
each (inclusive of Service Tax/GST)
OR
Two similar completed works costing not less than the amount equal to Rs. 131.10 Lakhs
each (inclusive of Service Tax/GST).
OR
One similar completed works costing not less than the amount equal to Rs. 209.75 Lakhs
(inclusive of Service Tax/GST).
Note:
Similar works means:- The completed works comprising any civil works of Repair/
Rehabilitation/ Strengthening of Hydraulic RCC structure carried out using “Epoxy based material/
Polymer Modified Mortars/ Protective coating material” AND “Carbon or Glass Fiber Wrapping
material”.
Completed Works means:- The executed/ completed portion of BOQ, even if the work has not
been completed in totality (subject to furnishing of documentary proof of executed value of the
work).
Values as per Cl-3 shall be considered inclusive of Service Tax/GST.
While computing the annual turnover other income shall not be considered.
In case where audited results for the last preceding financial year are not available, certification of
financial statements from a practicing Chartered Accountant shall be considered acceptable.
NIT Conditions
1. Bid documents will be issued to all the parties on their request (cost of tender document to
be made by a crossed demand draft / pay order / banker's cheque in favour of NSPCL
payable at Bhilai) for issue of bid documents without prima-facie examination of their
qualification status. However, issue of bid documents shall not mean that bidders are
considered qualified. Tender document fee will not be refunded. Request for tender
documents received after the last date as mentioned above due to delays postal/courier
services shall not be entertained.
2. Complete set of bidding documents are also available on NTPC website
www.ntpctender.com prospective bidders can down load the same for submission of bids
after tendering the cost of bidding documents directly on the website.
3. NSPCL reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel / withdraw the Invitation for bids
without assigning any reason whatsoever and in such case no bidder / intending bidder
shall have any claim arising out of such action.
4. Agencies are advised to visit the site to familiarize themselves with the nature of work and
the site conditions.
5. Small-scale industries registered with NSIC/MSME shall be exempted for payment of EMD &
Tender Fee.
(Subject to submission of copy of registration giving details, such as validity, monetary limit,
etc.)
6. If the last date of receiving application and date of bid opening coincide with a holiday, the
date will be shifted to the next working day.
