3.0 Bid Security/EMD, in original, for the requisite amount as stipulated above shall be submitted prior to

stipulated bid submission, closing date and time at the address given herein below. If Bid Security in

hard copy, in a separate sealed cover is not received or bids for which Bid Security of inadequate

value is received the same shall not be entertained and in such cases bids shall not be opened.

4.0 NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel/withdraw the invitation for bids/IFB without

assigning any reason whatsoever and in such case no bidder/intending bidder shall have claim arising out

of such action.

5.0 A complete set of Bidding Documents may be downloaded by any interested Bidder on payment (non-

refundable) of the cost of the documents as mentioned at 2.0 above in the form of a crossed account Payee

Demand Draft in favour of NTPC Ltd., Payable at SBI, NTPC Campus Branch, Br Code – 10085 or

directly through the payment gateway at our SRM Site

(https://etender.ntpclakshya.co.in/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/bbpstart).

For logging on to the SRM Site, the bidder would require vendor code and SRM user id and

password which can be obtained by submitting a questionnaire available at our SRM site as well as

at NTPC tender site (www.ntpctender.com). First time users not allotted any vendor code are

required to approach NTPC at least three working days prior to Document Sale Close date along

with duly filled in questionnaire and the requisite demand draft for issue of vendor code and SRM

user id/password. Issuance of Bidding Documents to any bidder shall not construe that bidder is

considered qualified

6.0 Brief Scope of Work

SUCCESSFUL VENDOR HAS TO SUPPLY THE 2000 MT PPC CEMENT, IS:1489 Part-1, Fly ASH 50 Kg at

BARH STPP.

The detailed scope of work is given in the Bidding Documents which are available at our SRM site as per

the schedule given above.

7.0 Qualifying Requirements of Bidders:

In addition to requirements stipulated under Section "Instructions To Bidders"(ITB), the Bidder shall also

meet the Qualifying Requirements stipulated here under :

7-(A) FOR SUPPLY OF 2000 MT PPC CEMENT, IS:1489 Part-1 PPC FLY ASH 50 Kg. at BARH STPP .

1. The vendor should be either a manufacturer of PPC CEMENT manufactured as per IS:1489 (Part-1)

with latest amendment (if any) and having BIS licence..

2. The Average annual turnover (AATO) of the bidder in the preceding three(3)Financial years as on date

of bid opening shall not be less than ₹. 85,64,260/-

3. The bidder should have successfully executed purchase orders to meet either of the following criteria

during last seven years as on the date of the bid opening.

a. Three similar orders valuing not less than ₹. 34.26 Lakh each

b. Two similar orders valuing not less than ₹. 42.82 Lakh each

c. One similar orders valuing not less than ₹. 68.51 Lakh each

Note:

(i) Similar Order Means: Manufacturing and supply of PPC CEMENT.

(ii) Complete Order Value means : Value of actually executed portion of an order and not the order value.

In case of purchase order under execution, value of purchase order executed till date of Bid opening , as

certified by the client shall be considered.

4. Bidders should have valid GST registration Certificate.

5. The bidder must submit the following documents: Details of order, proof of execution, audited balance

sheet of last three years, GST registration, PAN to establish their credentials in line with the qualifying

requirements.
