Supply (Main Equipment & Mandatory Spares), Erection & Commissioning of Boiler Acoustic Steam Leakage Detection (ASLD) System in Stage- 1 & 2 (Units 1, 2, 3 & 4) of NTPC-Talcher STPS.

1.0 NTPC invites on-line bids from eligible Bidders for aforesaid package, as per the scope of work briefly mentioned hereinafter:

5.0Brief Scope of Work & other specific detail

Sub: Supply (Main Equipment & Mandatory Spares), Erection & Commissioning of Boiler Acoustic Steam Leakage Detection (ASLD) System in Stage- 1 & 2 (Units 1, 2, 3 & 4) of NTPC-Talcher STPS.

To realize ASLD function as specified hereafter, bidder will provide new ASLD on as required basis as per details in Chapter 4 and elsewhere in the specification. Units 1&2 are in Stage-I & Units 3&4 in Stage-II

It is not the intent or purpose of this specification to give details of every single item that might be required for completeness and/or proper integration of the overall system. It shall be the responsibility of the bidder to coordinate with Owner and provide Acoustic Steam Leak Detection (ASLD) System which is complete and meets the requirements of this specification.

In the event of conflict between requirements of any two clauses of specification documents, Bidder shall seek written clarification from the Owner. The Owner#s indecisionthisregardwillbe final and binding.

1.The work/ order executed means the bidder should have achieved the criteria specified in the QR, even if the total

audited results of three consecutive financial years preceding the last financial year shall be considered for evaluating the financial parameters.

8.0Issuance of Bidding Documents to any bidder shall not construe that bidder is considered qualified.

9.0NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel/withdraw the NIT for the subject package without

assigning any reason whatsoever and in such case no bidder/intending bidder shall have any claim arising out of such action.

Earnest money deposit (EMD):

A. Bid Security/EMD shall be submitted in a sealed envelope, which should be superscribed #Supply (Main Equipment & Mandatory Spares), Erection & Commissioning of Boiler Acoustic Steam Leakage Detection (ASLD) System in Stage- 1

D. ANY BID NOT ACCOMPANIED BY AN ACCEPTABLE BID SECURITY WITHIN THE SCHEDULED TIME SHALL BE REJECTED BY THE EMPLOYER AS BEING NON-RESPONSIVE AND BID SHALL NOT BE OPENED.

Corporation or Directorate of Handicrafts and Handloom or any other body specified by Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises as per MSMED Act 2006, for goods produced and services rendered, shall be issued the bidding documents free of cost and shall be exempted from paying Earnest Money Deposit.

MSEs seeking exemption and benefits should enclose a attested / self certified copy of valid registration certificate, giving details such as validity, stores/ services etc. failing which they run the risk of their bid being passed over as ineligible for the benefits applicable to MSEs.
