NOTICE INVITING TENDER (NIT)

FOR

Construction of 03 Nos. store building with 03 nos. guard rooms & accommodation for contingent staff. (Domestic Competitive Bidding)

1.0NTPC invites on-line bids from eligible Bidders for aforesaid package, as per the scope of work briefly mentioned hereinafter:

2.0Brief Details

3.0 Bid Security and Integrity Pact (if applicable) shall be submitted in a sealed envelope separately offline/online by the stipulated bid submission closing date and time at the address given below. Any bid without an acceptable Bid Security and Integrity Pact (if applicable) shall be treated as non-responsive by the employer and shall not be opened.

4.0 A complete set of Bidding Documents may be downloaded by any interested Bidder on payment (non-refundable) of the cost of the documents as mentioned above in the form of a crossed account Payee demand draft in favour of NTPC Ltd., Payable at Not Given. or directly through the payment gateway at our SRM Site (https://etender.ntpclakshya.co.in/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/bbpstart). For logging on to the SRM Site, the bidder would require vendor code and SRM user id and password which can be obtained by submitting a questionnaire available at our SRM site as well as at NTPC tender site (www.ntpctender.com). First time users not allotted any vendor code are required to approach NTPC at least three working days prior to Document Sale Close date alongwith duly filled in questionnare for issue of vendor code and SRM user id/password.

5.0Brief Scope of Work & other specific detail

The scope includes Construction of 03 Nos. store building with 03 nos. guard rooms & accommodation for contingent staff at Alaknanda Vihar Township, NTPC LTD. TVHPP, JOSHIMATH, Dist: Chamoli Uttrakhand-246443.

6.0 Prospective bidders from U.P. State are compulsorily required to provide TIN number at the time of purchase of bidding documents.

7.0Qualifying Requirements for Bidders:

7.1Technical Criteria:

The bidder should have successfully completed similar works in any of the following manner in preceding 07 (seven) years from date of Bid opening:

i)Single order value not less than 80% of the estimated cost i.e. Rs. 66.48 Lacs. OR

ii)Two orders of value not less than 50% of the estimated cost i.e. Rs. 41.55 Lacs. OR

iii)Three orders of value not less than 40% of the estimated cost i.e. Rs. 33.24 Lacs.

Similar works mention above means:

#Construction of building work i.e. Built up steel structure frame work & trusses with precoated GI profile sheet walling and roofing, foundation work RCC/PCC etc.#

7.2.Financial Criteria:

The bidder should have average annual turnover in preceding 03(Three) financial years as on date of bid opening shall not be less than Rs. 83.10Lacs.

Bidders are required to furnish the details of past experience based on which selection is to be made as per format enclosed in the bidding documents and enclose relevant documents like copies of authentic work order, completion certificate, agreements etc. supporting the details/data provided in the format. No claims without supporting documents shall be accepted in this regard. However, if any of the reference work pertains to the Contract(s)/Works executed by Bidder for NTPC in the past then in respect of such Contract(s)/Works Bidder shall not be required to enclose Client Certificate(s) alongwith its bid.

The reference works whose details have been declared as per the specified format in the relevant attachment (i.e. Attachment No. 3) shall only be considered to ascertain the bidder's compliance to the specified qualifying Requirement (QR). Bidders wishing to provide additional reference works are required to declare the same in similar format which shall be additionally attached. However, bidders are not permitted to quote more than 3 times of works specified in QR for this purpose.

The Employer at its discretion may seek any clarification and/or documentary evidence only for the reference works as mentioned above. However, no change or substitution of the reference works by new/additional plant for conforming to the specified qualifying Requirement shall be sought, offered or permitted.

8.0Issuance of Bidding Documents to any bidder shall not construe that bidder is considered qualified.

9.0 NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel/withdraw the NIT for the subject package without assigning any reason whatsoever and in such case no bidder/intending bidder shall have any claim arising out of such action.
