NOTICE INVITING TENDER (NIT)

FOR

CW CHEMICAL TREATMENT OF STAGE I & II UNITS OF TTPS.

4.0 QUALIFYING REQUIREMENTS : -

The Bidder who wishes to participate in the bidding shall satisfactorily establish that they fulfill the following

requirements.

4.1 The bidder should have experience of having treated circulating water systems of COC around 1.7 and

higher, using Non-Chromate treatments for systems with circulating rate of 37000 m3/hr or more (with Hold-

up volume of 7500 m3 or more) and single cooling tower capacity with circulating rate of 20,000 m3/hr or

more, for a period of 12 Months or more with make-up water characteristics as given below or higher than the

range indicated below

4.2 The bidder should have experience of having successfully executed similar work (i.e. Non-Chromate

Cooling Water Treatment) having value not less than the following during the last Seven (07) years

reckoned as on the date of original bid opening

b) Value of Rs.46.19 Lacs each in case of similar two work orders, or

AVERAGE ANNUAL TURNOVER:

The Average Annual Turnover of the bidder in the preceding three (03) financial years as on the date of original

bid opening, shall not be less than INR 92.38 Lacs (Rupees Ninety Two Lakh Thirty Eight Thousand only)

6.0 (i) The word “executed” means that the bidder should have achieved the specified QR at para 4.2 even if total

contract is not completed/closed. The bidder has to produce necessary proof of the orders executed.

(ii) Other income shall not be considered for arriving at annual turnover as specified in QR para 5.0.

(iii) In case, where audited results for the last preceding financial year as on the date of bid original

opening are not available, certification of financial statements from a practicing Chartered Accountant shall

also be considered acceptable for last preceding finance year only.

(iv) In case, Bidder is not able to submit the Certificate from practicing Chartered Accountant Certifying its

financial parameters for last preceding finance year, the audited results of three consecutive financial years

assigning any reason whatsoever and in such case no bidder / intending bidder shall have any claim arising

out of such action.

6.0 Additional Information :-

The following information are also required from the bidders about the companies where similar orders have

been executed.

1) Name of the customer / company where similar order has been executed.

2) Year of execution.

3) Name & Designation (Phone No., Fax No., Email ID) of contract person of the customer.

vendor code must apply at least two days before the last date of document sale.

8.0 Issuance of Bidding Documents to any bidder shall not construe that bidder is considered qualified.

9.0 NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel/withdraw the NIT for the subject package
