SUB: Request for Proposal (RfP) Advertisement for long term supply Agreement of
Ash to Integrated Cement Plant/ Cement clinker grinding unit/ Cement
blending unit/ allied products manufacturing of 1 MTPA or higher capacity
adjacent to Projects of NTPC (within 50 km radius) on Built, Own and Operate
(BOO) basis”.
NTPC invites on-line Request for Proposal (RFP) from eligible Bidders for aforesaid
package, as per the scope briefly mentioned hereinafter:
1. Brief Details
a) IFB No. : 40082705;
b) Last date for receipt of queries from bidder : 25.12.2017
c) Contract Classification: Supply
d) Last Date and Time for Bid submission: 11.01.2018 before 14300 hrs
e) EMD in INR: Rs.2,00,000/-(Rs. Two Lac only) to be submitted by bidder through
Bank Guarantee.
f) Tender Fee : Rs 5000/- through online payment/DD submission.
2. The C-Folder consists of following attachments:
a) Name of the attachment ::
I. Instruction to bidders for e-tendering.
II. Tender Documents.
III. Excel Sheet for Price & Bidding Methodology
“The technical proposals will be opened on 11.01.2018.
The price proposal of only the successful bidders who fully comply with our technical
qualifying requirement will be considered for further evaluation. The date of price proposal
opening will be intimated separately.
NOTE: The bidders are requested to attach the relevant technical documents along
with the No-deviation certificate/ Documents for meeting Qualifying Requirement
(Online) in the C-Folder.
Other quoted quantity related documents is to be attached in un-priced bid.
3. Please note that the relevant documents for meeting our QR should be submitted
alongwith technical proposal. No change or modification or additional documents will be
accepted after opening of proposals. Any clarification/ correspondence regarding QR
documents will be w.r.t. documents in technical bids only.
4. Please note that policy & Procedure for Banning of Business Dealing will form an integral
part of the bid documents + Declaration of banning policy. The bidders are requested to
accept the declaration and attach in the C-Folder.
5. Please note that terms & Conditions / scope / attachments etc appearing in the bid
document will prevail over the General Conditions of Contract.
6. The last Date of asking clarification is 25.12.2017. Hence, the bidder may please seek
necessary clarifications pertaining to the above tender before 25.12.207.
7. NO DEVIATION IN TENDER CONDITIONS IS ACCEPTABLE TO NTPC: Any clarification
on any of the terms & conditions and / or scope of work etc. should be sought before
25.12.2017 by the intending bidders. Necessary reply will be given by NTPC before
scheduled bid opening date. Subsequent to reply, no clarification/ deviation shall be
accepted.
