NOTICE INVITING TENDER (NIT)
FOR
SUPPLY OF 600 NB DOUBLE FLANGED DUAL PLATE CHECK VALVES FOR STAGE-1 AT SIMHADRI
DOUBLE FLANGED TYPE DUAL PLATE CHECK VALVE, SIZE: 600NB, CLASS: 150 - QTY: 12 NO.
(Domestic Competitive Bidding)
1.0NTPC invites on-line bids from eligible Bidders for aforesaid package, as per the scope of work briefly mentioned hereinafter:
2.0Brief Details
3.0 Bid Security and Integrity Pact (if applicable) shall be submitted in a sealed envelope separately offline/online by the stipulated bid submission closing date and time at the address given below. Any bid without an acceptable Bid Security and Integrity Pact (if applicable) shall be treated as non-responsive by the employer and shall not be opened.
4.0 A complete set of Bidding Documents may be downloaded by any interested Bidder on payment (non-refundable) of the cost of the documents as mentioned above in the form of a crossed account Payee demand draft in favour of NTPC Ltd., Payable at VISAKHAPATNAM or directly through the payment gateway at our SRM Site (https://etender.ntpclakshya.co.in/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/bbpstart). For logging on to the SRM Site, the bidder would require vendor code and SRM user id and password which can be obtained by submitting a questionnaire available at our SRM site as well as at NTPC tender site (www.ntpctender.com). First time users not allotted any vendor code are required to approach NTPC at least three working days prior to Document Sale Close date alongwith duly filled in questionnare for issue of vendor code and SRM user id/password.
5.0Brief Scope of Work & other specific detail
SUPPLY OF 600 NB DOUBLE FLANGED DUAL PLATE CHECK VALVES FOR STAGE-1 AT SIMHADRI - QTY - 12 NO. DELIVERY PERIOD: WITHIN THREE MONTHS.
REVERSE AUCTION NOT APPLICABLE FOR PRESENT CASE.
6.0 Prospective bidders from U.P. State are compulsorily required to provide TIN number at the time of purchase of bidding documents.
7.0Qualifying Requirements for Bidders:
1.0Technical Criteria
1.1The bidder should have manufactured and supplied SS valves of size at least 200 NB and / or Dual plate check valves of size at least 200 NB of any material.
1.2Bidder should have successfully executed similar order with values as detailed below, during the last seven (7) years as on date of technical bid opening.
Single order of value not less than Rs. 67.20 Lakhs
OR
Two orders of value not less than Rs.42.00 Lakhs each.
OR
Three orders of value not less than Rs. 33.60 Lakhs each
2.0Financial Criteria:
2.1The average annual turnover of the bidder, in the preceding three financial years as on the date Of bid opening shall not be less than Rs 84.00 Lakhs. (Rupees Eighty four lakhs only)
3.0Notes:
a)In case where audited results for the last financial year as on the date of Techno-commercial bid Opening are not available, the financial results certified by a practicing Chartered Accountant shall be considered acceptable. In case, Bidder is not able to submit the Certificate from practicing Chartered Accountant certifying its financial parameters, the audited results of three consecutive financial years preceding the last financial year shall be considered for evaluating the financial parameters. Further, a certificate would be required from the CEO/CFO/Proprietor/Partner that the financial results of the Company are under audit as on the date of Techno-commercial bid opening and the certificate from practicing Chartered Accountant certifying the financial parameters is not available
b)For the purpose of arriving at the executed value of work specified at 1.2 above, basic amount only shall be considered. In case of a contract inclusive of Taxes, agency has to provide the break-up of basic and tax.
c)Other income shall not be considered for arriving at annual turnover.
d)The value of the supplies completed in the preceding seven (7) years reckoned as on date of techno commercial bid opening, even if it has been started earlier, will also be considered for establishing the qualifying requirements.
e)The word "executed ' means; bidder should have achieved the criteria specified in above QR even if the total order is not completed / closed.
f)The word #Similar Oder# means: Bidder should have manufactured and supplied SS valves of size at least 200 NB and / or Dual plate check valves of size at least 200 NB of any material. No sub-contractor will be allowed.
g)The bidder should have valid PAN number and GST registration number and the relevant documents shall be submitted along with bid proposal.
h)The bidder should submit the documentary proofs for establishing the QR requirements at 1.0 and
2.0 above.
8.0Issuance of Bidding Documents to any bidder shall not construe that bidder is considered qualified.
9.0NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel/withdraw the NIT for the subject package without assigning any
reason whatsoever and in such case no bidder/intending bidder shall have any claim arising out of such action.

TENDER FEE /EMD EXEMPTION:
Following bidders are exempted from Tender Fee and EMD by submission of valid registration certificates as below.
1)Small Scale Industries registered with NSIC with validity 2)Registered MSME bidders
Tenderers seeking exemption should enclose a Photocopy of valid registration certificate preferably attested by Gazetted Officer/Magistrate I st class failing which they run the risk of their application for tender documents/ tenders being passed over as ineligible for this concession.
