1.0 BRIEF SCOPE OF WORK:
Procurement of Hydrogen gas for NTPC TTPS
3.0 COMPLETION PERIOD: 12 Months
4.0 QUALIFYING REQUIREMENTS:
The bidders who wish to participate in the bidding shall satisfactorily establish that they
fulfill the following Qualifying Requirements.
4.1 The bidder must be a manufacturer or supplier of Hydrogen gas conforming to
Grade1/Grade 2 of IS 1090-2002.
The bidder should submit Certificate of incorporation/NSIC Certificate etc. or any other
document establishing that they are the manufacturer of Hydrogen gas & for establishing
as a supplier, the vendor should submit documentary evidence like PO copies along with
documents related to completion.
4.2 The bidder must have supplied hydrogen gas to any NTPC station/PSUs/State Electricity
Boards/Private Industries (supporting documents to be provided).
4.3 The bidder should have transport facility or any transport contract for transporting both
filled & empty cylinders to & from the delivered location.
4.4 The bidder should have experience of having executed similar orders during last seven
(07) years reckoned as on the date of original bid opening with any of the following:
a) Value of at least Rs.29.51 Lacs in case of single order,
OR
b) Value of at least Rs.18.45 Lacs each in case of two orders,
OR
c) Value of at least Rs. 14.76 Lacs each in case of three orders
Note: Similar orders would mean the bidder should have experience in manufacture &
supply of Hydrogen gas.
5.0 FINANCIAL CRITERIA:

AVERAGE ANNUAL TURNOVER: The average annual turnover of the bidder in the
preceding three (3) financial years as on the date of original bid opening shall not be less
than INR 36.89 Lakhs (Rupees Thirty Six Lakh Eighty Nine thousand only.
6.0 NOTES:
i. The work (supplied/executed) means that the bidder should have achieved the
specified QR at Para 4.0 even if total contract is not completed. In case of order
under execution, the value of work executed till the date of opening of Techno-
Commercial Bid as certified by the bidder shall be considered.
ii. Other income shall not be considered for arriving at annual turnover as specified in
QR para 5.0.
iii. In case where audited results for the last preceding financial year as on the date of
Techno-commercial bid opening are not available, certification of financial statements
from a practicing Chartered Accountant shall also be considered acceptable for last
preceding finance year only.
iv. In case, Bidder is not able to submit the Certificate from practicing Chartered
Accountant certifying its financial parameters for preceding financial year, the audited
results of three consecutive financial years preceding the last financial year shall be
considered for evaluating the financial parameters. Further, a certificate would be
required from the CEO/CFO as per the format enclosed in the bidding documents
stating that the financial results of the company are under audit as on the date of
Techno-commercial bid opening and the certificate from the practicing Chartered
Accountant certifying the financial parameters is not available.
v. The bidder has to produce necessary proof of the orders executed.
vi. NTPC also reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel/ withdraw the
invitation for bids without assigning any reason whatsoever and in such case no
bidder/ intending bidder shall have any claim arising out of such action.
7.0 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: -
The following information are also required from the bidders about the companies where
similar orders have been executed.
(i) Name of the customer/ company where similar order has been executed.
(ii) Year of execution.
(iii) Name & designation (Phone No. / Fax No. / email-id) of contact person of the
customer.
