NOTICE INVITING TENDER (NIT)

FOR

PROCUREMENT OF CAST CARBON STEEL AND FORGED CARBON STEEL VALVES OF VARIOUS

SIZES AT NTPC, BONGAIGAON.

(Domestic Competitive Bidding)

1.0 NTPC invites on-line bids from eligible Bidders for aforesaid package, as per the scope of work briefly mentioned hereinafter:

4.0 A complete set of Bidding Documents may be downloaded by any interested Bidder on payment (non-refundable) of the cost of the documents as mentioned above in the form of a crossed account Payee demand draft in favour of NTPC Ltd., Payable at Salakati or directly through the payment gateway at our SRM Site

5.0Brief Scope of Work & other specific detail

Supply of cast carbon steel and forged carbon steel valves of various sizes.

SALIENT TECHNICAL FEATURES:

6.0 Prospective bidders from U.P. State are compulsorily required to provide TIN number at the time of purchase of bidding documents.

7.0Qualifying Requirements for Bidders:

7.1The bidder should be a manufacturer of #CAST CARBON STEEL VALVE# and #FORGED CARBON STEEL VALVE# of various classes ranging from 150 NB to 800 NB for water/steam system.

7.2The bidder should have successfully executed the supply of #CAST CARBON STEEL VALVE# and #FORGED CARBON STEEL VALVE# for water/steam system to any NTPC project or any other industries meeting any one of the following criteria during last seven (07) years prior to the date of techno commercial bid opening :

a.Atleast one order of value not less than Rs. 14.064 Lakhs. OR

b.Two orders, each of value not less than Rs. 8.79 Lakhs. OR

7.3 The average annual turnover of the bidder, in the preceding three (03) financial years as on the date of techno commercial bid opening, shall be not less than Rs. 17.58 Lakhs (Rupees Seventeen lakhs Fifty eight thousand only).

NOTE:

(i)Other income shall not be considered for arriving at annual turnover.

(ii)The bidder shall submit documentary evidence/proof of meeting qualifying requirements stipulated above.

8.0Issuance of Bidding Documents to any bidder shall not construe that bidder is considered qualified.

9.0NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel/withdraw the NIT for the subject package without
