1.0NTPC invites on-line bids from eligible Bidders for aforesaid package, as per the scope of work briefly mentioned hereinafter:

2.0Brief Details

3.0Bid Security and Integrity Pact (if applicable) shall be submitted in a sealed envelope separately offline/online by the stipulated bid submission closing date and time at the address given below. Any bid without an acceptable Bid Security and Integrity Pact (if applicable) shall be treated as non-responsive by the employer and shall not be opened.

4.0A complete set of Bidding Documents may be downloaded by any interested Bidder on payment (non-refundable) of the cost of the documents as mentioned above in the form of a crossed account Payee demand draft in favour of NTPC Ltd., Payable at New Delhi or directly through the payment gateway at our SRM Site (https://etender.ntpclakshya.co.in/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/bbpstart). For logging on to the SRM Site, the bidder would require vendor code and SRM user id and password which can be obtained by submitting a questionnaire available at our SRM site as well as at NTPC tender site (www.ntpctender.com). First time users not allotted any vendor code are required to approach NTPC at least three working days prior to Document Sale Close date alongwith duly filled in questionnare for issue of vendor code and SRM user id/password.

5.0Brief Scope of Work & other specific detail

The brief scope of work includes Bioremediation Technology to improve the Domestic Sewage Treatment Plant Effluent quality of Talcher Kaniha 4 MLD Plant treatment capacity along with required Spares and accessories, Supply of whole composite of Microorganism and/ or enzymes and/ or Co-factors and/ or other products and/ or any Pre-assimilation technology depends on technology requirement with spares and accessories and consumables etc. to treat the system for 6 months, Fabrication work, Pre-assimilation work, Installation & Commissioning of all dosing Microorganism composites at Sewage Treatment Plant Aeration Tank/ Equalizing Tank of STP, Operator for smooth dosing, Testing of Performance Evaluation outlet water parameters & Running of System and Maintenance work if any required during trial period and Training of Owner#s personnel for the said system, as per the technical specifications.

6.0Prospective bidders from U.P. State are compulsorily required to provide TIN number at the time of purchase of bidding documents.

7.0Qualifying Requirements for Bidders: 6.1.0 TECHNICAL CRITERIA

6.1.1The Bidder should be manufacturer of composite of Microorganism and/or enzymes and/or Co-factors and/or other products used in Bioremediation Technology

an authorized dealer / distributor / channel partner / subsidiary of the manufacturer as on date of opening of Techno- Commercial proposal and such bidder should be duly authorised by OEM for this tender

6.1.2The bidder and / or their manufacturer should have successfully executed any one of the following similar jobs during preceding five years as on date of techno-commercial bid opening :

Single order of minimum 01 Bioremediation Technology to improve the Domestic Sewage Treatment Plant / Effluent Treatment Plant /river water quality of capacity 2 MLD minimum for two months.

Notes:

a)Similar jobs mean #Supply, installation and / or commissioning of #Minimum 01 Bioremediation Technology to improve the Domestic Sewage Treatment Plant / Effluent Treatment Plant / river water quality#.

6.2.0 Financial Criteria

The average annual turnover of the bidder / partner / subsidiary / manufacturer in the preceding three financial years as on the date of

Techno-commercial bid opening shall not be less than INR 5.4 Millions [ Rupees Five Million Four Hundred Thousand].

Notes: i) While computing the annual turnover, other income shall not be considered.

ii)For turnover indicated in foreign currency, the exchange rate as on 7 days prior to the date of techno commercial bid opening shall be used.

iii)In cases where audited results for the last financial year as on date of Techno-Commercial bid opening are not available, the financial results certified by a practicing Chartered Accountant shall be considered acceptable. In case, Bidder is not able to submit the Certificate from a practicing Chartered Accountant certifying the financial parameters, the audited results of three consecutive financial years preceding the last financial year shall be considered for evaluating the financial parameters.

iv)In case bid is submitted by the agent on behalf of their manufacture and order is to be placed on manufacturer, the turnover of the manufacture can also be considered.

v)Single order of minimum 01 Bioremediation Technology to improve the Domestic Sewage Treatment Plant / Effluent Treatment Plant / river water quality of capacity 2 MLD minimum for a period of two months. If Quantity and duration is not mentioned in PO, then Certificate / declaration issued by customer of their successful cases w.r.t. required quantity of treatment (MLD), and duration of the treatment as mentioned shall be admissible.

8.0Issuance of Bidding Documents to any bidder shall not construe that bidder is considered qualified.

9.0NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel/withdraw the Invitation For Bids (IFB) for the subject package without assigning any reason whatsoever and in such case no bidder/intending bidder shall have any claim arising out of such action.
