3.0 Bid Security and Integrity Pact (if applicable) shall be submitted in a sealed envelope separately offline/online by

the stipulated bid submission closing date and time at the address given below. Any bid without an acceptable Bid

Security and Integrity Pact (if applicable) shall be treated as non-responsive by the employer and shall not be opened.

4.0 A complete set of Bidding Documents may be downloaded by any interested Bidder on payment (non-refundable) of

the cost of the documents as mentioned above in the form of a crossed account Payee demand draft in favour of NTPC

Ltd., Payable at Not Given. or directly through the payment gateway at our SRM Site

(https://etender.ntpclakshya.co.in/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/bbpstart). For logging on to the SRM Site, the bidder would require

vendor code and SRM user id and password which can be obtained by submitting a questionnaire available at our SRM

site as well as at NTPC tender site (www.ntpctender.com). First time users not allotted any vendor code are required to

approach NTPC at least three working days prior to Document Sale Close date alongwith duly filled in questionnare for

issue of vendor code and SRM user id/password.

5.0 Brief Scope of Work & other specific detail

Overhauling of 01 No. Gas Turbine at DGPS

6.0 Prospective bidders from U.P. State are compulsorily required to provide TIN number at the time of purchase of

bidding documents.

7.0 Qualifying Requirements for Bidders:

1.0 Qualifying Requirements for the work Pkg.-CS5/5654):

1.1 The bidder should be the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of Siemens design Gas Turbines Model No. V

94.2 installed at NTPC Dadri Gas Power Station.

1.2 The bidder should be a #Overhauling Agency for Gas Turbine and must either himself possess or have access to the

necessary technology / know-how for #Overhauling / Major Inspection# of Gas Turbine of Siemens design Gas Turbine

model no. V94.2, installed at NTPC Dadri Gas Power Station having ISO rating of 142.2 MW at TIT of 1060 Deg.C.

AND

The bidder should have successfully completed #Overhauling / Major Inspection# of at least Two (2) Nos. Gas Turbine of

Siemens design having minimum 80 MW ISO rating, and the overhauled Gas Turbine should have individually completed

successful operation of at least 15,000 EOH since overhauling prior to the technical bid opening date.

1.3 The bidder can be a licensee or an Authorized Agent of either Gas Turbine Original Equipment Manufacturer

(OEM) for Gas Turbine model V 94.2 installed at NTPC Dadri Gas Power Station (Qualifying 1.1) OR #Overhauling

Agency# (Qualifying 1.2). In such case, the bidder can be considered qualified based on the experience of the Principal

who meets the requirements mentioned at para 1.1 OR 1.2 above.

1.4 The bidder should have executed the work of Overhauling / Major Inspection meeting any one of the following

criteria during the #preceding seven (07) years ending on last day of the month previous to the NIT publication, as per

the following values:

i) One order valuing not less than Rs. 93.42 Lacs or equivalent in foreign currency

ii) Two orders each valuing not less than Rs. 58.39 Lacs each or equivalent in foreign currency

iii) Three orders each valuing not less than Rs. 46.71 Lacs each or equivalent in foreign currency

1.5 The average annual financial turnover of the bidder in the preceding three (3) completed financial years as on

technical bid opening date shall not be less than Rs. 116.78 Lacs or equivalent in foreign currency.

Not e:

a. Technical Bid opening date refers to the FIRST scheduled technical bid opening date.

b. The work #executed# mentioned above means the bidder should have achieved the criteria specified above, even if

the total contract is started earlier and/or is not completed/closed.

c. In case of orders under execution, the value of work executed, till the last day of the month previous to the NIT

publication as certified by the client shall be considered.

d. While computing the annual turnover other income shall not be considered.

e. In cases where audited results for the last financial year as on the date of technical bid opening are not available, the

financial results certified by a practicing Chartered Accountant shall be considered acceptable. In case, Bidder is not able

to submit the Certificate from practicing Chartered Accountant certifying its financial parameters, the audited results of

three consecutive financial years preceding the last financial year shall be considered for evaluating the financial

parameters. Further, a certificate would be required from the CEO/CFO as per the format enclosed in the bidding

documents stating that the financial results of the company are under audit as on the date of Techno-commercial bid

opening and the certificate from the practicing Chartered accountant certifying the financial parameters is not available.

f. Bidder should have a valid Provident Fund Code Number and

Income Tax Permanent Account Number (PAN).

g. The bidder should have GST Registration.

h. In case of any financial criteria submitted by the bidder in foreign currency, then the conversion in INR shall be

done as on first date of scheduled date of Technical Bid Opening.

8.0 Issuance of Bidding Documents to any bidder shall not construe that bidder is considered qualified.

9.0 NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel/withdraw the NIT for the subject package without

assigning any reason whatsoever and in such case no bidder/intending bidder shall have any claim arising out of such

action.
