The word executed means the bidder should have achieved the criterion specified in the above QR,
even if the total contract is not completed/closed. In case of contracts under execution as on last
date of the month preceding the month of publication of NIT, the value of work executed till such
date will be considered provided the same is certified by the employer.
1.2 Financial Criteria:
The average annual turnover of the bidder in the preceding three (3) financial years (2014-15, 2015-
16 and 2016-17) as on the last date of the month preceding the month of publication of NIT shall not
be less than Rs. 29.50 Lakh.
In cases where audited results for the last preceding financial year as on the Bid opening date are
not available, the financial results certified by a practicing Chartered Accountant shall be considered
acceptable. In case, Bidder is not able to submit the Certificate from practicing Chartered
Accountant certifying its financial parameters, the audited results of 3(three) consecutive financial
years preceding the last financial year shall be considered for evaluating the financial parameters.
Note: i) While computing the annual turnover other income shall not be considered.
ii) Notwithstanding anything stated above, the Employer reserves the right to assess the
capabilities and capacity of the bidder/ his collaborators/associates/subsidiaries/group companies to
perform the contract, should the circumstances warrant such assessment in the overall assessment
in the interest of the Employer.
GENERAL NOTES:
1. Bid documents will be issued to all the parties on their request for issue of bid documents without
prima-facie examination of their qualification status. However, issue of bid documents shall not
mean that bidders are considered qualified.
2. Tender documents are Non transferable. Only the bidder, in whose name the tender documents are
downloaded, is allowed to submit offer. No bidder other than the original bidder in whose name the
tender documents are sold / downloaded can submit the offer.
3. Complete set of bidding documents are available on NPTC website https://eprocurentpc.nic.in and
prospective bidders can down load the same for submission of bids.
4. Tenders will be called under Single Stage Two Envelope bidding system. Bid opening schedule and
other details shall be available in tender documents for the relevant package.
5. NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel / withdraw the Invitation for bids without
assigning any reason whatsoever and in such case no bidder / intending bidder shall have any claim
arising out of such action.
6. ANY BIDS NOT ACCOMPANIED BY AN ACCEPTABLE BID SECURITY & TENDER FEE IN A
SEPARATE SEALED ENVELOPE SHALL BE REJECTED BY THE NTPC AS BEING NON-
RESPONSIVE AND REJECTED.
7. MSEs seeking exemption and benefits should enclose a attested / self-certified copy of valid
registration certificate, giving details such as validity, stores / services etc. failing which they run the
risk of their bid being passed over as ineligible for the benefits applicable to MSEs.
NOTE: The benefit as above to MSEs shall be available only for goods / services produced &
provided by MSEs for which they are registered.
8. Indenting parties are advised to visit the site to familiarize themselves with the nature of work and
the site conditions.
