NOTICE INVITING TENDER (NIT)

FOR

ANNUAL JOB CONTRACT FOR WTP OPERATIONAL ASSISTANCE, AREA MAINTENANCE &

ASSOCIATED ACTIVITIES AT NTPC - BONGAIGAON

(Domestic Competitive Bidding)

1.0 NTPC invites on-line bids from eligible Bidders for aforesaid package, as per the scope of work briefly mentioned hereinafter:

4.0 A complete set of Bidding Documents may be downloaded by any interested Bidder on payment (non-refundable) of the cost of the documents as mentioned above in the form of a crossed account Payee demand draft in favour of NTPC Ltd., Payable at Salakati or directly through the payment gateway at our SRM Site

5.0Brief Scope of Work & other specific detail

Scope of work in this package shall include providing assistance in WTP operation, area maintenance & associated activities at NTPC-Bongaigaon as per scope of work and instruction of EIC.

6.0 Prospective bidders from U.P. State are compulsorily required to provide TIN number at the time of purchase of bidding documents.

7.0Qualifying Requirements for Bidders:

The bidder who wishes to participate in the bidding shall satisfactorily establish that they fulfill the following Qualifying Requirements:-

The bidder should have successfully executed similar work of NTPC or any other industries meeting any one of the following criteria during last 07 (seven) years prior to the date of techno-commercial bid opening:-

a) At least one order of value not less than Rs. 50.40 Lakhs

b) Two orders, each of value not less than Rs. 31.50 Lakhs

c) Three orders, each of value not less than Rs. 25.20 Lakhs

1.1The word #executed# means that the bidder should have achieved the progress specified in the above para even if the total contract/order is not completed/ closed. The same shall be supported by documentary evidence issued by the owner.

1.2The word #similar work# means shift support in operation/operational assistance or civil/electrical/mechanical maintenance works, housekeeping or material handling/ material shifting work in an organization.

2.0Financial Criteria:

2.1The Average Annual Turnover of the bidder, in the preceding three (03) financial years as on the date of Techno-Commercial bid opening, shall not be less than Rs. 63.0 Lakhs (Rupees sixty three lakhs only).

2.2NOTES:

(i)Other Income shall not be considered for arriving at annual turnover.

(ii)The bidder shall submit documentary evidence/proof of meeting qualifying requirements stipulated above.

(iii)In case where audited result for the last financial year as on the date of techno commercial bid opening are not

result of three consecutive financial years preceding the last financial year shall be considered for evaluating the financial

8.0Issuance of Bidding Documents to any bidder shall not construe that bidder is considered qualified.

9.0NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel/withdraw the NIT for the subject package without

assigning any reason whatsoever and in such case no bidder/intending bidder shall have any claim arising out of such action.
