1.0 NTPC invites Online Bids on ‘Single Stage Two Envelope’ bidding basis (PART-I:

Techno-Commercial Bid & PART-II: Price Bid) from eligible bidders for Procurement of

Vehicle Mounted 40T Crane for Barh STPP, as per scope of Supply.

5.0 All bids must be accompanied by Bid Security for an amount of Rs. Rs. 2, 30,000.00

(Indian Rupees Two Lakh And Thirty Thousand only). ANY BID NOT

ACCOMPANIED BY AN ACCEPTABLE BID SECURITY IN A SEPARATE SEALED

ENVELOPE/ONLINE MODE SHALL BE REJECTED BY THE EMPLOYER AS BEING

NON-RESPONSIVE AND RETURNED TO THE BIDDER WITHOUT BEING OPENED.

6.0 Bid Security shall be submitted in a sealed envelope separately offline/online mode

up to the stipulated bid submission closing date and time at the address given below.

Any bid without an acceptable Bid Security shall be treated as non-responsive by the

employer and shall not be opened

7.0 Qualification Requirements for Bidders

In addition to requirements stipulated under Section "Instructions To Bidders"(ITB), the Bidder shall

also meet the Qualifying Requirements stipulated hereunder:

7.1 The bidder should be a manufacturer OR their agent duly authorized for this tender, of Vehicle

Mounted 40 T Crane.

7.2 The average annual turnover of the bidder in the preceding three financial years as on the date

of bid opening shall not be less than Rs. 1, 15, 00,000.00 excluding other income.

7.3 The bidder should have successfully executed purchase orders to meet either of the following

criteria during Last seven years as on date of the bid opening.

(a) Three similar orders valuing not less than Rs. 46 lakh each.

(b) Two similar orders valuing not less than Rs. 57.5 lakh each.

Note:

(i) Similar Order Means: - Manufacturing and supply of Vehicle Mounted 40 T Capacity or above.

(ii) Complete Order Value Means: - Value of actually executed portion of an order and not the order

value. In case of purchase order under execution as on date of bid opening, the value of purchase order

carried out till date of bid opening will be considered as the value of executed order as certified by

client.

7.4 Bidder should have valid PAN, VAT and CST registration Certificate.

7.5 The bidder must submit the following documents: Details of order, proof of execution, audited

balance sheet of last three years, VAT registration, CST registration, PAN to establish their credentials

in line with the qualifying requirements.

8.0 NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel/withdraw the Invitation for

Bids without assigning any reason whatsoever and in such case no bidder /intending

bidder shall have any claim arising out of such action.

9.0 Prospective Bidders from U.P. State are compulsorily required to provide TIN

number at the time of purchase of bidding documents from office of NTPC.

10.0 A complete set of Bidding Documents may be downloaded by any interested

Bidder on payment (non-refundable) of the cost of the documents as mentioned above

in the form of a crossed account Payee demand draft in favor of NTPC Ltd., Payable at

Barh or directly through the payment gateway at our SRM Site

(https://etender.ntpclakshya.co.in). For logging on to the SRM Site, the bidder would

require vendor code and SRM user id and password which can be obtained by

submitting a questionnaire available at our SRM site as well as at NTPC tender site

(www.ntpctender.com). First time users not allotted any vendor code are required to

approach NTPC at least three working days prior to Document Sale Close date along

with duly filled in questionnaire for issue of vendor code and SRM user id/password.

SSI units of Bihar/MSME / SSI units (of other states) registered with the National Small

Scale Industries Corporation shall be exempted from the payment of Earnest Money

Deposit. Tenderers seeking exemption should submit a Photocopy of valid registration

certificate preferably attested by Notary/Gazetted Officer/ Magistrate 1

class, giving details such

as validity, stores etc failing which they run the risk of their tenders being passed over as

ineligible for this concession.

Note: No hard copy of Bidding Documents shall be issued.

11.0 Issuance of bid documents to any Bidder shall not construe that such bidder is

considered to be qualified. Bids shall be submitted online and opened at the address

given below in the presence of Bidder’s representatives who choose to attend the bid

opening.

12.0 Transfer of Bidding Documents purchased by one intending Bidder to another is

not permissible.
