NOTICE INVITING TENDER (NIT)

FOR

Supply & Apply of Paint in CHP NTPC KORBA

(Domestic Competitive Bidding)

1.0 NTPC invites on-line bids from eligible Bidders for aforesaid package, as per the scope of work briefly mentioned hereinafter:

4.0 A complete set of Bidding Documents may be downloaded by any interested Bidder on payment (non-refundable) of the cost of the documents as mentioned above in the form of a crossed account Payee demand draft in favour of NTPC Ltd., Payable at RAIPUR or directly through the payment gateway at our SRM Site

5.0 Brief Scope of Work & other specific detail Supply & Apply of Paint in CHP NTPC KORBA

6.0 Prospective bidders from U.P. State are compulsorily required to provide TIN number at the time of purchase of bidding documents.

7.0 Qualifying Requirements for Bidders:

QUALIFYING REQUIREMENTS [QR]

1.A (1) The bidder should either be

(a) A manufacturer of epoxy based paint Or

(b) A manufacturer of epoxy based paint cum its authorized applicator Or

(c) An authorized applicator of an epoxy based paint manufacturer And

(2) The bidder should have executed the work of supply and application of epoxy paint on new/ old steel surface of any

a)Single order of value not less than Rs. 88.32 Lakh

or

b)Two orders of value not less than Rs. 55.20 Lakh each.

or

c)Three orders of value not less than Rs. 44.16 Lakh each.

(2) In case, the bidder is an epoxy based paint manufacturer cum its authorized applicator, they should have executed the works, i.e. supplied and applied paint on their own, while meeting the requirements set at 1.A above. The bidder shall

2.0Financial Criteria

The average annual turnover of the bidder in the preceding three (3) financial years as on the last date of the month

3.1The bidder to submit documentary evidence in support of Clause 1.0 of QR.

3.2 Copies of audited balance sheet and profit & loss account for the preceding three (3) financial years in support of Clause 2 of QR.

4 Notwithstanding anything stated above, the Employer reserves the right to undertake a physical assessment of capacity and capabilities including financial capacity and capability of the Bidder / his collaborator(s)/ associate(s)/ subsidiary(ies)/ group company(ies) to perform the contract, should the circumstances warrant such assessment in the overall interest of the Employer.

The physical assessment shall include but not be limited to the assessment of the office/facilities/banker#s/reference works by Employer. A negative determination of such assessment of capacity and capabilities may result in the rejection of the Bid

8.0Issuance of Bidding Documents to any bidder shall not construe that bidder is considered qualified.

9.0NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel/withdraw the NIT for the subject package without

assigning any reason whatsoever and in such case no bidder/intending bidder shall have any claim arising out of such action.

a)Small Scale Industries registered for similar work with the National Small Scale Industries Corpn. shall be exempted

from payment of tender cost / Earnest Money Deposit. SSI units registered with District Industries Center are also entitled for exemption of EMD / Tender Cost. Such parties can sent the request for Tender Documents along with a

b) Small Scale Industries registered with NSIC shall be exempted from payment of Security Deposit up to the monetary limit for which the unit is registered with NSIC.

7.0Initial steps for participating in our E-tender is as per the table mentioned below:

New Vendor neither having any vendor code in SAP nor

9.0 Transfer of Bidding Documents purchased by one intending bidder to another is not permissible. NTPC takes no responsibility for any loss/delay/non-receipt of applications/ tenders sent by post.
