PACKAGE – 1 : Hiring of AC Diesel Car of Toyota Etios / Mahindra Verito or Superior Type of Model of 2016 or later – 24 Hrs duty (Contractors Category)

1The bidder should have experience in supply of vehicles on hire.

2The bidder should have executed orders for supply of vehicles on hire basis during the last 7 years as on last date of the previous month from the date of publication of NIT and should submit documentary proof of having executed the purchase orders as below.

AThe bidder should have executed purchase orders of cumulative value not less than ₹.5.90 Lakhs in any continuous 12 months during the last 7 years as on last date of the previous month from the date of publication of NIT.

BThe bidder should either own OR should have booked

OR should produce consent letter from the owner that they are ready to provide the vehicle on hire on award of contract to the bidder “one (1) Number AC Diesel Car of Toyota Etios / Mahindra Verito or Superior Type of Model of 2016 or later”.

3The average annual turnover of the bidder in last three financial years shall not be less than ₹.5.90 Lakhs.

4If the agency applies for Various Categories of vehicles, value of executed purchase orders and value of annual turnover shall not be less than the Cumulative Values corresponding to these vehicle categories.

5The bidder should have valid PAN Number, Service Tax Registration Certificate and independent PF code issued by RPFC.

6The bidder should submit documentary proof for the above.

1The bidder should own Indigo eCS LX TDI or Superior Type of Model 2016 or later in his own name as on last date of the previous month from the date of publication of NIT.

2The bidder should have valid driving license.

3The bidder should give an undertaking that himself will drive the vehicle on hire basis at NTPC Simhadri during the period of contract if awarded to him.

4The bidder should have valid PAN Number.

5The bidder should submit documentary proof for the above.

PACKAGE – 3: Hiring of Indigo eCS LX TDI or Superior Type of Model 2016 or later – 10 Hrs duty (Contractors Category)

1The bidder should have experience in supply of vehicles on hire.

2The bidder should have executed orders for supply of vehicles on hire basis during the last 7 years as on last date of the previous month from the date of publication of NIT and should submit documentary proof of having executed the purchase orders as below.

AThe bidder may apply for any number of vehicles between One (1) to Five (5) numbers. The bidder should have executed purchase orders of cumulative value not less than ₹.2.80 Lakhs X Number of vehicles applied for (i.e. ₹.2.80 Lakhs for one vehicle, ₹.5.60 Lakhs for two vehicles and so on …) in any continuous 12 months during the last 7 years as on last date of the previous month from the date of publication of NIT.

(II). GENERAL CONDITIONS FOR VEHICLE HIRING

1.Bid Documents can be obtained from the address given below on any working day between 10.00 Hrs. to 16.00 Hrs on Non-refundable payment of ₹ 1288/- (inclusive of tax) towards the Cost of Bid Documents for each PACKAGE in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of NTPC Ltd, payable at STATE BANK OF HYDERABAD, NTPC-DEEPANJALI NAGAR (Code No.20914).

1.1For documents to be sent by post, required amount shall be ₹ 1388/- for each PACKAGE.

2.Issuance of bid documents to any bidder shall not construe that such bidder is considered to be qualified. Bids shall be submitted & opened at the address given below in presence of bidder’s representative who chose to attend the bid opening.

3.The bid documents, Package wise, shall be submitted duly signed and stamped on each page, as follows:

￿Cover-1 shall consist of:

1.Earnest Money Deposit.

2.Certificate regarding acceptance of Important Conditions of Contract.

3.Letter of Undertaking on non-judicial bond paper of ₹100/-.

4.No deviation certificate in the prescribed format.

5.Documents in support of meeting the Qualifying Requirements.

￿Cover – 2 shall consist of:

1.Price bid in Bill of Quantity provided by NTPC.

￿Both the covers shall be kept in one single envelope and sealed with proper packing.

4.The Bid Documents shall be forwarded to C&M - Contracts Department so that same reaches on or before 3.00 PM on the Bid Opening Date at the address given below. The envelope containing the technical bids shall be opened at 3.30 PM on the Bid Opening Date in the presence of those Bidders who wish to be present. If there is any change in Bid Opening Date due to unavoidable reasons, the same will be intimated by post to all the bidders.

4.1 Bids NOT accompanied with following documents shall not be entertained and shall be returned to the bidders without being opened:

4.2Following bidders are exempted from Tender Fee and EMD by submission of valid registration certificates as below.

￿Small Scale Industries registered with NSIC with validity.

￿Vendors with Valid MSE Certificate as per MSMED Act 2006.

￿Valid Udyog-Aadhaar Certificate.

4.3Bidders seeking exemption should enclose a Photocopy of valid certificates, failing which the application for tender documents / tenders shall be considered ineligible for this concession.

4.4EMDs shall be returned to all bidders in case of cancellation of tendering process by NTPC. EMDs from all unsuccessful bidders shall also be returned after finalization of tendering process at NTPC end.

5.In case the tender documents are obtained by post, NTPC is not responsible for any loss or postal/communication delay. Offers received late/incomplete are liable to be rejected.

(II). GENERAL CONDITIONS FOR VEHICLE HIRING

6.Detailed Specifications of job including Scope of Work and all Terms and Conditions of NIT’s are given in Tender Documents.

7.The relevant documents for Qualifying Requirements stipulated above shall be submitted by the Bidder as per the provisions of Bid Documents.

8.NTPC shall not be responsible for any loss or postal delays.

9.Evaluation Criteria:

9.1All bidders in each category shall be requested to match the NTPC Finalized Rate for that category.

9.2Preference will be given to Owner Cum Driver category over the Contractors.

Awarding of contracts shall be done first to the L1 bidder in the Owner Cum Driver Category, then to L2 bidder, L3 bidder etc in this order, at the NTPC Finalized Rate, till the requirement is exhausted.

If further vehicles are required, the awarding of contracts for remaining vehicles shall be done to the L1 bidder in the Contractor Category, limited to the maximum number of vehicles quoted by them, at the NTPC Finalized Rate. If further vehicles are required, awarding of contracts shall be done to L2 bidder, L3 bidder etc in this order, limited to the maximum number of vehicles quoted by them, at the NTPC Finalized Rate.

9.3For vehicles to be deployed under Contractors Category ONLY, awarding of contracts shall be done to the L1 bidder, limited to the maximum number of vehicles quoted by them, at the NTPC Finalized Rate.

If further vehicles are required, awarding of contracts shall be done to L2 bidder, L3 bidder etc in this order, limited to the maximum number of vehicles quoted by them, at the NTPC Finalized Rate.

10.NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all the bids or cancel / withdraw the Notice Inviting Tender without assigning any reason what so ever and in such case no Bidder / Intending Bidder shall have any claim arising out of such action.
